Can CIC cross check the amount mentioned on bank statement and the actual amount in my account? Please advise.

yes , they can ask you for a fresh account statement from a particular date till now, and check with the bank whether the particular
account exists or not, and whether the deposited statement is original or not.
They can not ask for the amount of money your account has.

Hello,
It is well known that the primary applicant can land first alone and then the rest of dependent applicants can land later. The issue here , I can't find this piece of information in any "official" release like CIC website for example. Can anyone please point out an official source for this "fact".

And on the same topic, when the dependents land later, what do they show to the boarder officer to prove that the Primary applicant has already landed?

Thanks.

Thanks & Regards

Actually this question has not got any concrete answer. But one thing is for sure they cannot approach bank directly to verify your account transactions.
There are many parameters involved in this like types of proofs submitted, statement period, visa officer handling the case, etc
They may or may not ask to furnish details but again that depends solely on the visa officer.
Ideally an applicant shall maintain a constant balance in his/her account till the whole process is on.
But many of us may not be in a situation to do so.

When dependents are to be brought afterwards, kindly accompany them.
This is what i shall be doing.

Dependents should carry the COPR copy, Immigration Officer can check from the sytem data that the pricipal applicant has already landed.
I can not get anything about landing from official website

Hi All,
Does anyone know if I have a family member who have misrepresentation findings in U.S, would that create any problem for getting a PR in Canada? For note it is not a crime and I have already gotten FBI clearance for both myself and my family member, RPRF fee paid and medicals done. Just curious since the application is showing In Process and was just wondering what other members think. Thanks for your time.

If you have FBI clearance then I do not see it as a problem.

When do I need to inform vo of my change of status, before mr or after mr? Thanks

Dear friends,

I asked this question in this theead before and didn't get a satisfying answer from anyone. So i am reposting this question here. Please let me know your insights about the below questions.

Am i right to say If someone's CC charged means that his application is complete and CIC officers has already checked the candidate's job description match to the 80% of the lead statement of the NOC and after checking that only they charge the candidate's credit card?

Is there any chance that the CIC officers will charge the CC first and then later they check the candidate's job description (JD provided by the company including the jobs he performs in the work) and if it's found that it doesnt match with the 70%-80% of the lead statement and so the candidate will receive a NER?

Really appreciate your answers in clearing my above doubts.

Thank you all in advance.
