digandhi said:Hello,
Hope you are doing well.
I was following this group before few months and you are very helpful to other so I decided to contact you directly.
Just to give background,
I am FSW applicant under NOC 2171 and details are as follows:
Application received Date: 17 Oct 2014
CC Charge Date: 18 Dec 2014
PER Email: 17 Jan 2015
Fyi...
I had applied under NOC 2174 on 06 Jun 2014 but that application came on 12 Sep 2014 and sent again but due to cap reached the application came back. Meantime I applied under NOC 2171 and I manage to get PER for the application
Now my queries are:
1. What will happen to my application after receiving PER? It will be sent to local visa office that you selected in your application.
2. It will great if you can provide me the detail information like when background check will take place so I can inform my employer to response with proper job duties medical etc..i am not understanding 1st line update and 2nd line update terminology
1st line states when your application was recieved by CIO, 2nd line states when processing is started by local visa office once your file reaches there. If Visa officer finds out medical reports are required he will issue RPRF,Medical request email and if PCC was not included with application then PCC is also requested. You need to undergo medicals and submit results and pay right of permanent residence fee online or by DD . Once your medical results are recieved by visa office they will review it and will updated 3rd line "Medical results have been recieved". They might do verfication before medical request or after request, once verfication, security, criminality, human rights violation checks are done and satisfactory they will update 4th line "Decesion is made on your application, visa office will contact you for the decesion" and they will send you email to send your original passports for visa stamping and issue you stamped passports and Confirmation of Permanent residence document which you need to carry when you land in canada.
3. What extra care I need to take as my job duties are mix of 2171 and 2174? - If you have applied in 2171 your duties should be more aligned with 2171 , as a general rule duties should be 60% of your NOC and rest should be as per similar NOC .
4. Will it be fine if apply to express entry under 2174 even though I have PER for 2171 or It may create problem for me?
I don;t think it would be a problem only you need to show different timespan with duties aligned with 2174 for EE application.

You can either wait for PER or call CIC. It's tough to call, most times they say they can't help.yayatimartin said:hey guys can anyone tell me how to get uci number

But that is not legal or at least not nice. I used a lawyer and he gave me my UCI as soon as CIC send it to them.
If your agent was Canadian, and licensed with CIC it would be illegal for him to do so and you could report him. Where is your agent from?
Congrats and +1 due to you due to Karma !!tech2015 said:thanks and good luck to u...

He's in Canada, but I've lready paid him upfront. That's why this is weird to me.
