Exactly! There needs to be a MI before something as momentous as this purported change in procedure can come into effect.

Hello all,

I don't see logic in that moving to EE for post july who are not charged and stuff.
If that was the case then i guess they would have stopped charging for December month candidates for which we are hearing news from people who have applied in the month of december.

At the same this mandate or circular cannot be specific to any single VO it should be across the VO's. I think we need to look at the email and then see what can be interpreted from that.

But i think all should be focused and patiently wait for the stages to be cleared.

he send me the mail but thats not the original mail forwarded my his agent. they copy pasted the mail and forwarded.. i saw the mail . he told in that the original from mail address is not given. they send it like copy pasted. cant trust that mail, they might be playing .. he is in dubai now. the agency is based on dubai. he is gonna go to agent and ask for the original forwarded mail not the copy pasted one. i really think this is his agent playing . they might be done something wrong and had to re submit .. and then making a story. lets get the original mail with from address and let me confirm with my friend in dubai..

Bucharest VO asked me or Medical
my wife is Pregnant expecting baby delivery in first of May

my questions ...
1. i want to postpone the medical until the delivery, so can i postpone the medical for the whole family or just my wife?
2. if i do it on 1-2-2015, and she do it on 1-6-2015 , then the visa expiry when we will get it will be 1-2-2016 not 1-6-2015 right ?
3. if i proceed with the medical for my wife , and inform the VO when i get passport request that she is pregnant, this will not stop them from issuing the visa ?
4. if i do the medical and got the visa but did not travel before the delivery , and deliver the baby outside Canada , what will happen ?
5. if i postpone my wife medical and deliver the baby outside Canada , what will happen ( new forms , new fund proof , medical for the new baby) ?

That I want to say agent wanted that your friend reapply with them again for RE so they got profit. ..

DEAR FRIENDS MY FRIEND JUST GOT A MAIL, ALL APPLICATIONS UNDER FSW APPLIED AFTER JULY 2014 (UNDER PROCESS NO PAYMENT CHARGED YET) ARE TRASFERRED TO NEW EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM, INCLUDING HIS APPLICATION, HE RECEIVED MAIL FROM CIC THROUGH HIS AGENT. NOW HE NEED TO APPLY FRESH FROM START ..

There is no such circular from CIC. Sorry, but this information cannot be trusted and should not be trusted.

Following is an extract from the FAQ segment of Express Entry from CIC's "Official" website:

7. What will happen to permanent residence applications you receive before the launch of Express Entry?

Applications received by CIC before the launch of Express Entry will be processed according to the rules in place at that time.

Sorry to say but that consultant has robbed and trying to rob further your friend.

Processing times: Permanent Residence — Economic classes
If you applied before January 1, 2015:
Your application will be processed under the rules in place at the time you applied.
Find out how long it will take for CIC to process your application.

If you applied on or after January 1, 2015:
Our goal is to process most complete applications received under Express Entry in six months or less.
We currently only have processing times for people who applied under the old system.
Processing times tell you how long it took Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to process applications in the past. Since Express Entry is a new system and not enough applications have been received yet, processing times are not available but we have committed to process applications in six months or less.

Don't let people play with emotions of several hopeful candidates who have put big struggle as well as paid financially for this process of submitting their applications.

I wish everyone good luck. Can anyone share their experience as to how long it takes to receive an email regarding the application?

Per: 19th aug'14
Medical done: 24th Nov'14
3rd line update: 19th dec'14
4th line update: 'decision made'- 31-Jan'14
