I wish everyone good luck. Can anyone share their experience as to how long it takes to receive an email regarding the application?

My timeline is:
Application received: 9th may'14
Per: 19th aug'14
Medical done: 24th Nov'14
3rd line update: 19th dec'14
4th line update: 'decision made'- 31-Jan'14

I just checked with the bank and they have informed that the DD for RPRF has been cleared on 18.11.2014, Just wondering why it is taking soo long for PPR...

hi Friends,

Need help ugently :-[

About two days back i receive a mail from CIC for MR and Right of Permanent Residence fee.

I am in the following situation ---

we were just blessed with a baby and to get her passport done either of the parent had to have spouse name in it, so i got it done in my wife passport.
The problem is that we are still to send this info to embassy ,as we were waiting for an intimation from embassy. Now since we have got the medical and we are required to take our passport along for it, Will there be any issue because embassy has old PP details and we will be carrying a new as well as old PP along :-X

Also friends i need help on the follow things
1. I have informed the embassy through mail and from their online inquiry link yeserday about the change in family composition, but i am still waiting for there reply
1. What documents i need to update for getting baby added to the application
2. DO i need to update the old forms like 'Generic application from" etc or should i fill the new one and send them.
3. Will the baby be also required to get the medical done? If yes do we need to wait for that intimation from CIC or we get it done with our medical and send it to embassy.
4.For "Right of Permanent Residence fee" how do we pay ?? Online or through DD. If we pay through Online we just take that receipt and send it along with the documents.
5. And one last thing , while sending the application i did not send the PCC. In the mail received from them they have not asked me for the PCC and just asked me to send the PP copy , Medical and RPR fees. what should i do , should i send it or should i wait till they specifically ask for PCC :-X :-[

i Know i have asked lot of questions :-X. But guys i am badly confused :-[ and Worried that i might not miss on any thing :-[ ??? :-\

Just an update:
Application Rcvd 28th Nov 2014, CC charged on 22nd Jan 2015

Couple of things I learnt:
1. Credit Card Disasters: My CC was blocked by my bank on 15th Jan due to a fraudulent use by someone in Florida. I told my bank they must keep my CC open because of the immigration application but they refused. However, Chase did have the ability to keep my credit card number open only for Canadian merchants for maximum 21 days - excluding any online merchants. Fortunately, I got through it. Just a suggestion for people who are in a similar situation.

2. UCI Number: I realized that the UCI is the same as when I applied for a Canadian Visa 2 years ago. I know because my first application was returned to me with a UCI number written on it, which was the same as the one written on my visa. I am now periodically checking CIC website with the same UCI number to see if there is any progress on my PER (which I hope comes through).

4.For "Right of Permanent Residence fee" how do we pay ?? Online or through DD. If we pay through Online we just take that receipt and send it along with the documents. - you can pay by both ways. Yes, if you are paying online, you may e-mail generated receipt to VO and take the print out. fill-up the information and send to VO along with other copies.
5. And one last thing , while sending the application i did not send the PCC. In the mail received from them they have not asked me for the PCC and just asked me to send the PP copy , Medical and RPR fees. what should i do , should i send it or should i wait till they specifically ask for PCC :-X :-[ - Do not send whatever has not been asked. just send whatever they have asked. If they will need, they will let you know again.
