Guys

MR,PCC and RPRF are sent in one mail or separated?

Preferably together since it will help the case officer.
Ensure Medical is completed in 30 days if PCC is causing any delay.
If PCc is getting delayed more than 45 days
Send the Medical and RPRF with the cover letter requesting time for PCC
Please include the courier time withing the 45 days to be safe

UCI and file number are two different numbers
UCI assigned by CIC once your file open up
File number is usually assigned by visa office once they start working on transferred file.

Hello All,

Need Help!!!!

Actually we are trying to get PCC for India. We stay in Poland and we have applied PCC in Indian Embassy but its taking a long time.Meanwhile we are trying to apply Pcc in India. The problem here is I have my current address and my spouse name updated in my Passport, but my husbands passport has the old address in India. The question is while applying for PCC in India I can give my current address which is in the passport.what address should my husband give while applying PCC(address in his passport or address in my passport)

Appreciate your answers and advice.

Thanks in advance

Hi.. Let me get this correct. You and your husband are currently in India to get the PCC from a PSK (passport seva kendra). Your passport address and the PSK where you will apply for PCC, is the same city, right? If yes, there shouldn't be any issue.

And your husband's address in the passport is a different city in India, right? Ask him to get his PCC from that city's PSK. This will save a lot of hassle. Just my thoughts!

Btw, how long were you guys in Poland?

Cheers!

Hi all,

I need advise, especially from the seniors.

I applied FSW under NOC 2263 on October 3 and recieved PER on January 13 (which I believe shoud mean completeness and eligibility check completed).

I provided 3 Police Clearance Certificates in my application, 1 from my home country and 2 abroad where I have worked before. It was written on one of the abroad PCCs that "should be attested for abroad use", but I didn't do that in order to complete and send my application ASAP as I recieved this PCC in my home country (my company in that country provided me with PCC and sent it to me) as it was.

So my question is; do you think this would be a problem during the processing at VO?

All comments appreciated...

dharmesh_008 | simply just show your MR/PER letter that will suffice
Else they do not have any other rights to ask other proofs beyond these 2.
(ya for A'bad only i m talking)

What is the minimum, average and maximum time between PER recieved and MR for NDVO applicant?? any idea.

Hello Friends,

As most of my colleagues are troubled with the thought that its been ages since MR but we have not received PPR

I have tried to create a general formula to calculate the expected time for PPR

It is complex and not accurate.

It varies for every case and you are the best judge of your rating for your profile -

Here Goes

Consider this table as each number = Weeks and add as per your Profile as average time for Security checking
"Personal Profile Risk rating

Factors to consider
Gender
Region that you belong to
Married (Is better) or Not
religion / Race"
1
2
3
4
5

Number of countries traveled to & Stayed more than 6 months
1
2
3
4
5

In Country with Delayed PCC
1
2
3

5

How Busy is My VO (Very Busy =5 and Least =1) and How fast is it
1
2
3
4
5

Date when you submitted PCC's
12-Dec-14

Example profile (with no Delayed PCC as my example did not stay in UAE, USA or Australia)
3+2+2+4
11 weeks

Expected check completed by
Lest week of Feb

Next Step
Post this date the Visa Office will Pick the file for further Processing and Update GCMS = 2 Weeks for PPR if no issue

Please copy each table in an excel Column next to each other and check

Hello All

What is the latest MR?
My 2nd line update on 24th of Jan 15
Process started on dated 22nd of Jan 15
PER received on dated 27th of 14
