Good to know ur forex card worked......U just saved forex surcharge on CC plus the Exchange rate difference in case of INR DD....

yea i did but the exchange rates are higher for forex card load than other DD/currency exchange rates. todays rates were 51.3 and a 75rs reload fee on top of that but it worked butter smooth

POF - relates to readily available cash - any instrument that cannot be withdrawn will not fall under the umbrella of POf....

You can withdraw PF as per the rules but it need to satisfy the following point.
The 5 years term should have been completed and whatever is the amount at the end of 4th Year 50% of that amount can be withdrawn.
I assume PF and PPF have the same policies.

I think they do know when you project PF as part of your saving which if considered is fine but when you are landing i think you can carry the cash required and if required show proof that you can support yourself with the same.

When you have all 3 lines updated on ur ecas I.e till the medical received part and u have paid ur rprf... Does this mean you have been through the whole process and everything is fine and you are only waiting for ppr1...


I'm only asking this so that I can take my mind off and concentrate on work

Any seniors care to comment please...

AFAIK, if you are quitting your job and not joining a new one, you can withdraw your full PF. Since, your neew job would be in Canada after quitting your current job, you should be able to withdraw the entire sum.

Only PPF amount is not withdrawable.

PER---Expecting in feb first week.


I am planning to get married by December 2015 and want to know about the best possible way to add my spouse in my application.


Questions :

1)I am thinking of getting married right now in the court and arrange for a certificate and then ask for a status update after PER---I have heard adding status update may delay my processing for an indefinite time.
I don't really want that to happen with me---is it a good option ?


2) what if I get my visa stamped and then get married before landing ??? What will be the procedure to add my spouse ??

What do you think the next step is and how long it could take?

Also I just got transferred to another country for work, should I inform the visa office?

after 3 line update you are 99% safe you will get ppr request for visa only but in rare cases they ask for interview in between... if interview comes at this stage that is also just a regular enquiries not much of worries like before medical... so chill.... all the best

congrats mate . Please share your timeline .which NOC do you belong to Charge date /application date. ?

nxt step is AOR or MR....on an average it take a couple of months depending on the visa office.

I am pretty sure you will have to inform CiC about your transfer .experts can advise when and how.

Hi everyone , did anyone ever received their AOR from their lvo and lost acces to their ecas? IN PROCESS on ecas is gone n no information at all is present. i dont think i clicked removed access mistakenly but may be, is their any one who experienced such?? After rec AOR ??? PLZ REPLY, IM SO WORRIED.
