Hello my mentors

If you can advise me! I applied for 2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians. I sent my application on 9 SEP 14. On 12 DEC 14 I received an email from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca stating "Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office." I was given an application and UCI number. Yesterday on 26 JAN 15, I have received another email from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca which states that "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/09/15. When should I contact CIC?"
Now I am confused which one is first or second letter or what I need to do now!

Can you help?

first mail is your PER and congratulations for that..!! According to me, second mail is just an acknowledgement mail for your application.

In either case, you dont have to do anything. Around within 45-60 days, you will recieve MR/RPRF mail from your local visa office upon successful varification of your background etc.

Hi All,

You shouldn’t be always negative feelings on background verification.

From my own practical experience on verification of AUS citizenship application, there was one Bangladeshi guy came from AHC Dhaka (showed his ID card) to verify one of our ex-colleagues papers.

The person came to our office at Banani, Dhaka office and he checked that the applicant was working in our office or not. As per the front desk, the guy presented his own ID card to check some papers of one of employee’s information. Then front desk forward that person to me directly for further question. I didn’t know what exact information that person got from front desk however when I saw the our ex-colleagues reference letter which was not match 60% of his job role in our company and even the letter was issued date of signatory was not correct in that period of time but I was damn sure the sign was copied by someone because signatory was retired from the company more than a year of issuing letter date.

I was in very bad situation and I explained in details about his position and working process of our organization and he showed me other papers that also not matching with our company’s most of information. I couldn’t hide it because as a foreign company and I should inform as much correct as I can and signed back those papers as a counter of verify.

After six months later I found that ex-colleague left our country and he has settled down in Sydney, Aus.

So from my practical experience the verification can go always in positive way if there is nothing too much offence case in your job role against your reference letter.

It is said on this forum that updating 3rd line means is as good as clearing the medical, but can we have confirmation of this statement any where. I am curious because my wife was asked for 2nd X-Ray and even the 3rd line is updated, confirming with the bank even the RPRF Draft has been cashed.


Can anybody help me with clear answer, as i am very nervous.

Anticipating someone clear me in detail
