any news from december applicants ...and CC or dd encashed


plz plz update

Unfortunately up till now could not find out any news except with one exceptional case.
I think that first end of next week will start the first week of december processing. For more information see my below stats based on data provided by forum members:-

Hi All December Applicants,
Please note the following stats for your information, as per the updates by november applicants on the forum
3rd Nov,2014 Applicant CC charged on 7th Jan 2015
26th Nov,2014 Applicant CC charged on 21st Jan 2015
Days from 3rd Nov till 26th Nov = 23-days of applications
Days from 7th Jan till 21st Jan = 15-days of CIO
So CIO is finishing completeness check at the rate of Appx.1.53-days of applications per working day.
With this rate the appications received on or before 15th December 2014 would have been charged prior to 3rd Feb,2015.
Similarly all the applications received till 31st December, 2014 would have been charged prior to 13th of Feb 2015.

I have a huuuge doubt regarding my NOC. I have 4+ years working as a PeopleSoft technical consultant. I thought i was under NOC 2171, but now I think I'm under 2174.


Can anyone clarifiy this for me?

Your NOC is determined through duties you perform at work place, not by where you work or what your work as.

Check your duties on LOR with duties mentioned under appropriate NOC.

Unfortunately can't do this unless its in grey market. To get the exchange legally, we need to have tickets, Visa and provide form A2.

Also oil prices are expected to remain down for some time with OPEC countries (crude as Brent) trying to put pressure on US and Canadian companies (crude as Shale gas) where drilling costs are very high. OPEC countries expect that US/Canadian oil companies may shut down as they will not be able to sustain and recover costs if price of oil remains low for a long time. But No one knows the actual break even cost of most of the US/Canadian companies though some experts say its 40 USD per barrel while others feel its 50 USD per barrel. Hence no one really knows where the prices will bottom out. However the oil prices are expected to dip further for some time. Also the budgets of OPEC countries, Russia, Saudi and Venezuela, too will take a hit if they continue to supply oil at lower prices.

Considering all this, trade pundits believe there will be a median pricing reached after some time (maybe 6-8 months) and oil prices will remain stable there for some time. This might be in the range of 60-70 USD per barrel probably.

Lastly i heard that 1st dec applicants ahve been charged, now which date?

Could you please provide the profile name of 1st december applicant who got charged. Because as per this forum updates the latest one charged was application of 26th Nov. 2014. Today i didn't note any update on the forum about charging.

If someone got his CC charged today pelase share. Don't know today either noone shared his CC charging OR CIO didn't charge anyone's CC today?

I finished my medicals yesterday along with my family members in Hyderabad.

I booked a slot @ 11.30 AM but reached early as little curious to finish it off early. As expected, they accepted my forms around 10 PM and asked to fill out all the forms. Office staff redirected me to a room and following things happened in sequence

1/ Nurse took my eye test. I was not aware of not to close one eye very hard with my palms. I read all the letters and numbers correctly with my left eye. But when I started reading with right eye, some of the letters and numbers scrambled. 6 was read as 8. Then the lady told me very calmly that I should ONLY cover my eye

2/ My daughter was tested for her eye sight. This is surprising for me as she is just 5 years 4 months and was expecting only URINE test for her. She is so shy but could manage to read all the alphabets and numbers. The only concern raised by Doctor later on that reading was 6/9 which is abnormal and 6/6 is normal. My daughter got 6/9. I saw that my daughter was put a covering on her eyes with a plastic perforated thing (don't know how to name it) and asked her to read all the letters. Later when Doctor analyzed all the results, my daughter was asked to retake the eye exam and this time all the readings came normal.

3/ My son was 2+ years old and nurse took height and weight of him

4/ My wife took eye exam and she has some problem with left eye. She managed to read all the letters.

5/ After that staff took blood sample of mine and wife and redirected to take Chest X Ray which was done next door as the concerned clinic's X ray machine is not working. We returned back after X Ray was completed.

6/ After a brief period of time we have given URINE samples and asked us to wait until specialist doctor comes in for examination.

7/ Around 2 PM, panel doctor arrived and staff assisted me to his room. He asked to remove everything expect undi. He took physical examination and asked varied questions about any surgeries, accidents, TB infected family members. However, he took 10-15 seconds and listened to my heart beat. This was done more than 3-4 times. Is this any concern????

Finally he asked me to dress up and conveyed best of luck.

8/ My daughter was asked her name, class. He also asked to sing a rhyme and my daughter is so shy and could not tell him. She is very agile but I can definitely understand that she may not deliver in such an environment

9/ My son rocked awesome. He told mine and wife's pet names to doc. Doc placed steth in his ears and asked him to listen to his own heart beat. My kid laughed and doc was surprised to see my son's pro activeness.

10/ My wife as asked about all the details and finally conveyed 'All the best'

11/ We left the place after collecting the acknowledgements and staff told me that reports will be uploaded with in 2-3 working days.

By grace of god, everything went on well and hopefully see the third line in ECAS.

All, based on above points, will there be any concern about Points 2 and 7.

Noc 2171:

Information systems business analysts and consultants confer with clients to identify and document requirements, conduct business and technical studies, design, develop, integrate and implement information systems business solutions, and provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, security and service delivery.

Noc 2714:

Write, modify, integrate and test software code
Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications
May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers
May research and evaluate a variety of software products.

It is possible but only in case if points are less then 67 OR job description or experience certificate is not matching with what is mentioned in the NOC lead statement.

People are sharing as much information as they can about each step of the process so I figure I might as well share my medical exams experience here in Brazil.

I got an appointment with Dr. Alexandre Buescu here in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He does exames for USA, Australia, New Zealand and Canada visas. He's about 60 years old. Pretty cool and easy going man.

He check my height. Weight. Blood pressure.
Asked if I had had any surgeries in my life.
Asked if I take any medication on a regular basis.
Asked if I had had any serious disease in my life such as Tuberculosis.
Asked me when I plan on moving to Canada and why I want to move there... just making conversation.

He than asked for me to go do the following exames.
Blood test to check for HIV, Syphillis.
Regular Urine test.
X-Ray of the chest.

He said I was supposed to send him PDF of the blood and urine test results to him once they were available. He also told him to send my FSW photo to him through an e-mail. The X-Ray restults were going to be sent to him directly by the medical office which I did the exam.

I went out on the same day and did all these exames in a couple of hours after the appointment.
That was Monday January 12th.
Thursday January 15 I got the results for Urine and Blood Test online and sent it to him right away in the morning.

On the following Monday, January 19th I got request for Passport and RPRF.
Apparently he did send my exames straight away once I forwared it to him.

Pretty standard and quick stuff.

For those who have tattoos, he didn't even bother about my huge half sleeve on my right arm and didn't for extra exames because of that. I've read that some doctors ask for extra exams when they see their patients have tattoos.

Lucky are the people who have NDVO as their visa office as everyday something is happening may it be MR or PPR but with LVO we dont see any single update for anything , whats going on ? really tensed
