:) :) :) :D :D :D 8) 8) 8) 8)

Anyone who has taken the DD from Icici bank for CAD dollars and the cheque was issued from Bank Of Montreal on the name of "Receiver general for Canada" ? I want to know how they got to know their cheque is encashed or not ? is that by calling the customer care or visiting the bank Huh

When I went to bank all they are saying is cheque is not returned so that means either it is encashed or they are yet to encash ? This is a confusing update I get from them.

5th Nov applicant for NOC 2172 .. when I checked my Icicibank statement online there is no transaction abt it until now.

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

Boss go to ICICI bank treasury dept and ask them to check nostro mirror account with bank of montreal whether it has been cleared or not. They have the information for sure

You can have your PR card delivered at an alternate address (cousin, freinds) in Canada, who in turn can courier it to you back in India. That is never a problem.

But what I dont know for sure is whether is it legitimate to plan a short landing trip and then make a full move on a later date? Would Immigration officer and/or the goverment agency approve our short stay and yet issue PR card, when they can see we are still in confusion with our decision to move to Canada.

If someone can throw light on this, I would be greatful. Many thanks,

Hi

Need help from you in understanding this scenario. Like you I wish to return after 15 days and then permanently move after 1 year.
But how do you plan to do same as in 15 days your PR Card won't come .. How will you travel after 1 year.

Thanks
Neha

Hello my friends,

According to the spreadsheet the applicants assigned to Sao Paulo VO are receiving the RPRF and PPR around one week after the medicals are sent through the electronic system, but for me two weeks have gone and nothing. I travel a lot to many countries because of my work, but never stayed long enough to require a police certificate. I also have a controlled high blood pressure, which I reported during the medical examination, together with documents provided by my doctor showing my good condition. Could the travels and the HBP explain the delay?

Thank you.

Thanks for answering....But have you cleared it from CIC whether it is possible....Becuase I was reading a post from CIC in which they do not specefically mention PR Card but they say PII information cannot be couriered....If it is caught then it will be destroyed. So want to know whether you have also confirmed this path.

Thanks
Neha
