I know what you are talking about. I've also applied through a consultant and they issued the DD - not me. So I have to wait for them to go to the bank in order to confirm encashment for me :/.

With any luck I'll get my PER before that!

Happy to announce the receipt of Golden mail. After such a gruesome wait, finally happy to share this news with you all. First of all i would like to thank this forum to be a part of my life day and night. Yes night also as i have listened to my wife's screams when i use to follow this forum in the night. Well thanks to her for been a tremendous support through out. Now the wait of MR starts. I know the process does not end here and still so many hurdles to go through.

Special thanks to all of you guys for sharing all the info that you have regarding this process.

RPRF= 490 CAD.
if you can not get the UAE PCC before the deadline, ask for extension then send what you have in hands.
they will certainly give you more 30days, but make sure that you have to provide them the reason for extension clearly.

My application received CIC on October 16, 2014. My cc was charged on December 19, 2014. However, one month has lapsed and I did not receive PER yet.
Is it normal delay? What is UCI and how I can check my UCI number?

Your inbox is full.

You cannot update your address as of now, at-least there is no easy way of doing it and the issue at hand does not warrant such an effort.

Just wait until you reach the MR stage and then send them an updated Generic Application form.
