My dear fellows, has anybody got any inquiry reply from CIO lately? Can anybody tell how much time it takes for them to answer? When was the last reply received from them and when was the question asked?
I decided to ask them, when was my file transferred, I wonder if they will tell me. But I don't want to bother my VO just yet.

Brother, send CSE to your VO. I wrote CSE 20 days after my PER and got answer on the next day.

yes..some Aug 1 has also got it earlier last week (NDVO) and a 6 Aug got it 2-3 days back

Well, I don't want to bother them yet. Besides, I think they will answer me with their usual "Your application is currently in processing, please keep calm and keep your obnoxious emails at a minimum" :-[ :'( And I really want to know when was my file transferred (month at least).

I just don't get this silence, nobody checks my references, nobody writes to me, no updates in ecas, and it's been 80 days after PER and counting :'( :'( :'(

Hello Friends

NEED SUGGESTION ON AN URGENT BASIS

One of my friend unintentionally answered ‘NO' to all questions of Question No. 6 of Background Declaration. Which asks “Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever:”
But he got one Visitor Visa Refusal for Canada with reason that ‘Purpose of visit not clear'.
He also got a PER mail few days ago...!

Kindly suggest that whether he should inform Local Visa Office regarding this unintentional error (How & when) or wait for call or updation request from Local Visa Office?

hello friends....
my processing started 4 months back..n today i got a verification call frm cic.....
the lady was very humble n polite....
bt unfortunatly 2 questions went wrong......bcz i was in meeting......i ignored 3 calls from cic.....bt overall it went good.....
fingers crossed....
lots of technical questions were there......HOPE FOR THE BEST..........

Can you please let us know your time line and share the questions that were asked ?

You are right about the answer from them, simply it mean stay calm, don't disturb us and keep walking. ;D

You have an option for GCMC notes, I will use it maybe next month if I don't have any news.

I think Mr. bbshah means NDVO, not CIC.

I don't think CIC will be calling for BG check. this work is being done by NDVO (or say, any local VO).

correct me seniors..if I am wrong.

Did you received call from NDVO before Medical ?
