Okay so there is a myth about EE that ppl get ITA only if they have job offer or nomination from province. This is incorrect, in initial months most applicants in EE pool will be without job offer as job offer along with LMIA takes atleast 5-6 months, also nomination takes 4-5 months from the date of applying. In this timeframe , most applicants in EE pool will be invited without job offer. These applicants will be ranked as per CRS system and high ranking applicants will be given ITA.

IF that's the case, then indeed, EE guys of the first wave have an edge.
Can you guide me or share a CIC link where such initial exceptions for the program are documented.

Now I also need to give PCC. The address which is mentioned in my passport , I have given that for reconstruction because of which I have moved to a rented house temporarily. I am a resident of Delhi, India. How should I proceed for PCC because I suppose police verification will be done at the address mentioned in the passport.

Congrats for those who got per.
I am worried as i am 2nd sep app but no news.

Have 2 question:
1. Can you provide me cic call center number and work time to get status or uci from them?
2. I can not know DD status so if it was rejected so i would get a NER email or just get package back?

CIC number +1 613 944 4000...listen to IVR and then keep following the voice prompt pressing 1 1 1 1 1 3 1...and at the last 1 it will ask you to input your file number..don't press anything just wait for it to repeat it 3 times and then they transfer your call to an agent.when the agent picks don't say you applied for fswp..just ask for UCI number,if she or he is a good mod he gives but some wont..however if he/she probes for why you want it..tell them you applied for a tourist visa before and it was not approved but UCI number was sent and now you mistakenly deleted it and cant remember it but you only remembered 92----- and the rest six digits you cant remember as you are filling another tourist form and without you putting it the application form wont submit.That was what i did and it worked for me..try it buddy.I am 27th August just few days before you and mine took 140 days before i got PER..just on the 14th Jan..so you see..things work differently with this CIC people at times.

Call your bank to ask when DD was cashed...if you get confirmation of en cashed date then don't panic....but if bank says DD not yet cashed,then we got a problem buddy and package might be on its way back to you...which i we don't pray for.

I called CIC and after several times was able to get my UCI

Online status says ..... IN PROCESS

Status " IN PROCESS " has a different meaning on both links ... which 1 should be followed ... and how long does it take for PER email after UCI is created

Congrats first.....relax bro..PER will drop any moment so long as you have seen IN PROCESS with your UCi..then you have no issues...thats PER in its sense but wait for the mail. Congrats again

Cic has not published any exception as such, but they have said first draw will be in end of jan.

It is very difficult now to get LMIA, unless it is genuine and employer has good reputation and have made attempts to hire from local market. That is logical deduction that during intial 2-3 draws we wont have much people with job offers with +ve LMIA.

I am a 29th Dec applicant and desperately waiting for my cc to be charged. Although I know it is too early to be thinking on those lines however would still like to ask the members of the forum an expected date by when they think it will be done.

Also by any chance NOC 0112 is expected to cap?

Hi Nitks,
If your police verification was done at the time of passport issuance, in 90% cases, PSK will give the PCC then and there without any additional verification. That's how it happened for me. Hence I don't think you will face a challenge getting PCC on your passport address.
Also, you don't need an appointment if you reach the PSK before 11.30 AM. So, enter your details on the PSK site, pay the fees of Rs. 500, pick any date that available on the site and along with that ack. print, visit the PSK next day by 9 AM. you will have the PCC in you hand by the next couple of hours.

The PCC will be given then and there if it less than year old passport only.

Hello,

My application has been rejected and CIC has sent my documents back to the address which was mentioned in the application.

But since I have recently moved back to India the courier was sent back to CIC and they sent me a mail asking me to provide me a valid address.

I have sent the address to them but there is no response from them after that.

I have multiple mails,called the CIC customer care,submitted a case investigation but there is no response.

Can u please tell me what can I do further.

My original IELTS,WES are with them and due to this I cannot apply again also

I still don't believe there will be exceptions. One of the intent to roll Express Entry is to ensure that applicants who enter the country have a better success rate. Hence a active Job offer will be the key.
But somewhere in my head, what you say makes rational sense.
I still hope that FSW applicants don't have adverse affect due to this program.
