Second Line Updated: 31st Dec 2014

Thank you for the invaluable information and support.

Now I also need to give PCC. The address which is mentioned in my passport , I have given that for reconstruction because of which I have moved to a rented house temporarily. I am a resident of Delhi, India. How should I proceed for PCC because I suppose police verification will be done at the address mentioned in the passport.
Please provide inputs, Thanks.

Me and my wife both can get canadian projects in our respective organizations but alas we cant say that we have PR and this PPR is killing the scope of getting internal transfers

I am NOC 4011 October 22 applicant.

Why there are no charging for this NOC almost since a month after October 17? I am worried.

I got my UCI number yesterday but no information is displayed.

I have also mailed them on November 28, awaiting their reply till date.

Called to bank too but DD is not encashed till date.

Seniors please advice.

Hi Nitks,
If your police verification was done at the time of passport issuance, in 90% cases, PSK will give the PCC then and there without any additional verification. That's how it happened for me. Hence I don't think you will face a challenge getting PCC on your passport address.
Also, you don't need an appointment if you reach the PSK before 11.30 AM. So, enter your details on the PSK site, pay the fees of Rs. 500, pick any date that available on the site and along with that ack. print, visit the PSK next day by 9 AM. you will have the PCC in you hand by the next couple of hours.

Seniors please confirm if this will jeopardize my 2nd application.

I applied the 1st time on july 14 and yesterday I got my application back for noc 2132. They sent my application back on Oct. 14.
My application was incomplete due to no job duties and responsibilities in my employment letter. I got my uci no. written in pencil on my forms.
I reapplied again on dec. 12 for a different noc knowing that 2132 may be capped. I applied for noc 2232 with an updated employment letters in line with the lead statement of 2232.

i don't see any problem with that so long as your job duties mentioned in your employment letter or work reference matches the new Noc you are applying again for..you are fine.Best of luck

This makes the whole situation very tensed.

But if this is the case, then how come, few applicants (from this forum) got PPR in Dec.14 from NDVO ..!!

Does this mean, they are the luckiest brothers and rest of us will have to wait for a year now?? :-[ :-[


Also, 22 months may be for the whole procedure. Do you think that just for PPR they will keep us waiting for a year..??!!!!

I guess we need to stay positive and be hopeful rather then getting dismissive about the situation.
Possible that the new EE program only triggers when a valid Job Offer is given. That takes some time I presume and thus the VO's have free time to work on FSW 2014 cases.
Also, an employer may not always have resource planning as far as 6 - 7 months ahead. Usually, requirements are due to back fills and those an employer will need in 1-3 months.
So, I am sure they would know that a wave of 2014 applicants can be expected and it may make more sense for them to wait for that rather then picking a job from the pool.

So, here's to positive thinking !!!

Okay so there is a myth about EE that ppl get ITA only if they have job offer or nomination from province. This is incorrect, in initial months most applicants in EE pool will be without job offer as job offer along with LMIA takes atleast 5-6 months, also nomination takes 4-5 months from the date of applying. In this timeframe , most applicants in EE pool will be invited without job offer. These applicants will be ranked as per CRS system and high ranking applicants will be given ITA.
