Hi,

I got my 3rd line updated today

Application date: 19th june, PER: 8th Oct, MR: 31st Dec, Visa Office: NDVO

Any clue on how many more days for Passport request?

NDVO is taking much longer .... there are people waiting for 4 months.. there is no time limit now

Is it ok if the DD for RPRF is 3 mnths Valid or it should be with 6 mnths Validity??? Reply will be appreciated

It is okay. They (CHC/CIC) will charge before expiry date if they need to.

Please i need to know something...my application was received August 27th under NOC 1212 and DD was encashed 4th Dec but since then i have not gotten the PER mail...i was advised that i try calling CIC as well as send a mail to that effect....i sent a mail but as we know it takes up to 50-60days for response to come..however i started calling CIC to see if i can get my UCI number which up to 20times within 3 weeks they refused giving me saying they cant give me the information i should e mail CIO. However i got lucky just today and they gave me my UCI number.When i checked the ECAS it showed my full name and IN PROCESS underlined.When i click on the IN PROCESS it said...We received your application on 27 August

please what does that mean....is it they sent PER and i didn't see it or they are yet to send?

It means you will shortly receive the PER email or it has already been sent....pls check your spam folder

I'm an August 27 applicant and got my PER on December 19. I recently lost my job and have not informed LVO till now. I need your advice on when to inform them so that my application processing doesn't get affected.

I am re-posting again


I am waiting for PPR from NDVO I got my medicals done in November mid and third line updated in november and submitted my RPRF and PCC docs.
Now I have moved to a rented house since my Old house is under construction
Should I inform the NDVO about the address change now?

For RPRF, if you sending it locally, it will be 3 months validity. I dont think, there is an option of 6 months validity in local DD. In my case, the HDFC DD, had "Valid for 3 month" as part of the fixed format in the draft.

You can inform them right now but just in case don't mention you loose it, just say you are not longer working there. Being unemployed is not a cause of rejection so you are safe there.
