Time line

NOC - 0112
Appl recvd by CIC - 6th Nov '14
Charged CC - 9th Jan '15
VO - NDVO

As per the latest update by CIC, the NOC 0112 - HR cap has reached to 254. my query is when I would be in the caps list ?? Am I in the list on the day CC charged or until I receive the file no. ?? pls reply

CIC only charge CC when the cap is not full as it is the part of "completeness check". During this process the officer check that all the required documents are presented and status of the cap for the NOC under which the application had been received.

Medical will be sent directly to the visa office and the remaining should be sent by courier.

Second line was updated on Dec 18, that processing has started on Dec 16th, but no MR yet. I am really concerned, as most of the timelines indicate that MR request is received within a week or so from the date of processing. It is almost going to be a month. Please help.

do you think it would be useful to register with EE just in case? i'm hoping that my application will go through this time, but i'm thinking to apply for EE anyway. what are your thoughts?

Yes it will be useful because of so many reasons.
First of all, your already qualify for Express Entry pool as far as you qualify for FSWP 2014, because to enter into pool you need 67-points according same method as was for FSWP2014.
Secondly it will not have any negative impact on your already submitted application for FSWP2014, but it might increase your chances of getting selected under Express Entry prior to decision for FSWP 2014 comes.
Therefore apply for Express Entry without any fear and without paying anything extra. Because to make profile for express entry it is free.
