Hi Gurus,

Just received mail from CIC(Hope this is the PER mail)

UCI: XXXXXXXX

Application: EXXXXX

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Applications previously destined for Abidjan, Ivory Coast will now be transferred to Dakar, Senegal. Your application therefore will be transferred to the visa office in Dakar.

Not sure why they have transferred to Dakar instead of New Delhi.........

Gurus please throw some light on this.........

Thanks
Murali

YES - It's your PER mail!

Congrats!

My daughter has eye sight problem she has sight 5.5 in one eye and 6.5 in another eye. Will this be a problem during medicals? She wears glasses and does well in all her daily activities and studies. Please seniors throw some light.

hey guys,

I was in the US for several years. While I was there, I had filed a request for a change in immigration status from one visa category to another. This request was denied. Soon after, I applied again. This time it got approved and I was able to get back on a proper visa status. I left this detail out of my application inadvertently. Now, I'm in the process of putting together a letter to bring this to NDVOs attention. I was wondering if someone else has gone through a similar situation. Could this lead to a negative decision on my application? I had my Medicals done on Oct 29th. ECAS was updated "Medicals received..." on Nov 6th.

Thanks!
