I know that this question has been asked many times so far, but what does this mean when my ECAS status is "We received your application on..."
Does this simply mean that they are processing it, or does this mean that it has been processed already?

This is the status between your application accepted and visa processed. Visa process starts when they request and you pay PPRF and medical. You are in safe soon now.

My friend just called me and he received his Medical request this afternoon.

June 20 applicant
PER October 21
NOC 2173
NDVO,
second line updated yesterday itself
Not Married

I am cheering for him

Thanks for your reply. I must be patient and wait for PER a little longer.

If you are certain that you will enter by Nov 2015 is fine. If any uncertainties occurs such as your wife get pregnant and unable to travel you may lose your PR

Hey all,

I have recently got my FSW visa, the thing is I am getting married soon. I was told that I should contact Visa Office before landing in case of marriage.

What will happen? Will they grant my wife a Visa too? Will it be a problem for my own Visa?

Thanks in advance.

your visa will be cancelled...that is what i read on this forum.
landing first, then get married.

Can any one let me know if the PCC request comes with the PER or with the medical request.

Dear Fellows,

How many days time does NDVO gives time to submit passport once we get PPR mail??

i have a scheduled trip to US for couple of months from this month end. if i get PPR when i am not in india, any suggestion what to do?? my family will be in inda only for those months. Am very much worried about this. already re scheduled my trip twice and this time i should be on board. Paid RPRF in OCT 2014 but no DM in ECAS.

Waiting for Advice. :'( :'( :'( :'(

Manyare saying that apps till nov 24 will only be considered. how trueis that?

Every application received on or before 31st Dec 2014 will be considered for FSWP 2014 Program

Best time is Summer. right after Mid April till June/july is the best time. August is a bit late, cause u will not get enough time time to settle down before winter.
