It took exactly 8 months for the entire process.

Gosh... I wish I had read your post few minutes ago! I have already sent out a CSE following GrantM's post.

In British English, bit = quiet a bit which means a lot basically! ;D Anyway, I can't recall my CSE now so I've to wait a bit for their reply

Since there are a lot of questions on Background check, thought I will ask one on the same lines

My app reached CIC on June 3 and I received PER on 29th Sept. After which the second line was updated on 28th Nov(that is the day I received MR and RPRF), however the second line update was " we started processing your application on 24th Nov".

Now many say that once the VO starts processing the app, they initiate the first round of Background checks. How is it possible that background checks were completed in 4 days for them to issue me MR and RPRF??

Meds were done on 6th dec and 13th dec third line was added " Medicals received" and RPRF was encashed on 18th dec

Post MR, I presume, the second round of background checks are initiated(security and criminality)

Any thoughts experts on what Background checks does NDVO do in round 1?

hello members,

i paid my RPRF fees through credit card last month and sent the RPRF recipt with all the the other documents to NDVO.

But today i got mail from NDVO to pay the fees again. even i checked with bank they told that the credit card has been charged and the payment is made.

Seniors please advice what should i do ? Should i do the payment again ?

Take the credit card statement and see whether it was really charged or not and if charged then who charged it(cozz the name will be there). The send a CSE to VO and provide the statement as a proof.

Hi All,

Just saw that my third line got updated in ECAS. It has been a while since I checked ECAS status

1. We received your application for permanent residence on June 25, 2014.

2. We started processing your application on December 10, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

I completed my medical on 26th December and do not know when the hospital sent the results. I have sent my RPRF fees and IMM1017E form only today
and it will take 3 days to reach Delhi. I am updating today's date for ‘Medicals received by VO?' and ‘RPRF sent?' In the spreadsheet.

Was there any advantage in sending them.

I had them but I have not sent, because my relative told me not to send.

1. I submitted my application pretty late (29th of December 2014) and it was not delivered till the 6th of January 2015. Will my application still be considered seeing as the deadline for the FSW was the 1st January 2015. I applied under NOC 0112 which had not reached the cap limit at the time of my application.

2. Regarding the proof of funds, is it expected that the funds be untouched for the entire period of the application process?

As you can see I am very new to this, so any advice and information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Brother, latest charge found to be 3rd Nov and for NOC0111 is 20th October. But in between, there is only 2 applicants (shak77, Sha043) and both are DD. So even though this two have been charged, they may not be aware. The main message is 0111 has not been capped.

Sorry to say this FSW program ended on 31st December 2014 and from 1st January 2015 EE starts.
So you can try to enroll yourself in EE program.
