As per SS last application was 02/10 anyhow one member mentioned yesterday that his relative got charged (application date 13/10). I am not sure if he is telling the truth or not.

Thanks a lot sister. +1

Everywhere is cold in Canada. I don't know whether there is any difference between -10 and -40 (-40 :o :o) in terms of leaving. For both cases, you can't stay outside.

I got some relatives in Saskatchewan - so it is in my plan. Apart from this, job prospect is higher in Alberta or Saskatchewan than any other province in Canada. Currently people are rushing toward Alberta. Still I have not finalized the decision.

Any idea about IT jobs in Toronto? Is Alberta or Toronto best suits for IT Professional? Any idea?

I regularly check weather report for Alberta-Calgary (-) and Ontario-Toronto (sometimes minus). e.g. Currently, if Calgary is -17 then Toronto is -9 degree C. If it's flared (wind chill) then it will be more

I believe if it is weather wise it is Toronto the better option, however a bit more costly. If it is Alberta, as you said more job opportunities, i believe cost is also less comparatively, however it's too cold.

Anyways as you said, yes Canada is a Chill place, so we need to get used to it 8)

Dear Forumties,

Can you please answer the followings:

-What is the difference between AOR and PER?
-I must show the proof of fund? e.g.: I stated that I will bring 20,000 CAD so I must show no less than this amount??

Thanks.

PER:-Positive eligibility review (when you pass Canadian test :P issued by CIC/CIO)

AOR:- Acknowledgement of receipt issued by VO when they get ur file from CIO after PER (not all VOs send for ex NDVO doesn't but PVO does so its OK)

hope it helps ;D

Maym99,
Thanks for comparing me to my idol Michael Schumaker. Really adore him. He was my fav F1 driver.

Hi Guys,
I'm very stressed. I submitted my application in Sept 12, NOC 3012. My CC was encached in December 01, not PER yet. When I check CIC with my UCI Number, it shows that is in process? What does it mean?
Thank you

Hi,

If we get the PR, can we travel to Canada using our employer's onsite opportunity from India?

Of course Buddy, you can. That would be so cool :)

In purchasing around 6 years... But only 3 years as manager, before that as purchasing officer 3,5 years :)
But anyway with those 3 years i had around 74 points, i had luck with IELTS i got 22 points for language :)
Whish you success in future process :)

So soon feedback! Just impressed :)
My IELTS scores are not so good, as I expected to: L = 6.5, R = 6.5, W = 6.0, S = 6.5.
I was pretty assured that would get higher bands, with at least 7.0 overall, but unfortunately the reality appeared to be different.

It does not matter as long as you have cleared the benchmark score of 67 points. And these scores in IELTS aren't bad by any standards..
