Thanks for your elaboration and I think that what you have mentioned is quite balanced and realistic point of view based upon ground realities faced by several new immigrants landing in a new country and sometimes without anyone to support them and i think that this is what i have tried to convey in my previuos posts. Afterall "Canada is also not a bed of roses". I should say that you will be forced by circumstances already in place there in Canada to choose from either to start from scratch or leave Canada. Again this is what I was able to conclude from my own research and it is just my opinion and point of view. Again someone having evidences contrary to what we have read in above quote or what i have mentioned in my previous posts, you could share as well. Opinions are not binding upon anyone. And in the end essence of all these facts is that to be successfull in Canada you have to increase your stamina of hard workding.

There are some people spreading unwarranted and unnecessary negativity in the forum, Hey If you are so uncomfortable leaving your Jobs, Leaving your Country, Leaving your Cozy chair, Why the heck are you here ? Why have you applied for FSW, Did u ever thought that it was bed of roses, that u would land and the Canadian employers with come in a line to hire you, Sir, When you change cities it is a challenge and you are talking about changing Country- DO NOT SPREAD NEGATIVITY, people here are smart enough to score 67 + in eligibility that means they are well qualified, smart, Experienced Individuals and for sure they can and they Will survive the challenge , some one will feel comfortable in Six months and someone in one Year but eventually we all will !!!!

Dear Seniors,

I need an advice. I am the primary applicant. I know if there is a change in my work status then i have to inform CIC but if my husband (Dependent applicant) changes the job then do i have to inform CIC? He changed his job a week back, do i have to send an update letter?

Till which date have applicants received their MR from NDVO??

Since I am a 4th July applicant so when can I expect my MR?

As per SS , latest MR from NDVO is of - Sri - 16 July 2014 applicant.

Greetings

I just want to share my experience. I came to Canada on work visa and my husband on dependent. We filed open work permit for him which took 3 months. In next 3 months he was able to get job in place like London where IT opportunities are limited. Considering small city salary is also decent and comparable. Couple of things we did was - Create Canadian style resume and good linkedIn profile. Got connected with recruiters using LinkedIn. He missed few opportunities as they wanted PR candidates as open work permit for another 6 months only. So it may take time but we need to keep trying. Based on my observation in Canada, social networking is playing key role in filling positions.

People are confused about Background checks vs Criminality and security checks...........


Please be noted that there is a huge difference between those two. PPl are writing personal mesgs about this

Before medicals request, CIC will do all necessary verification of docs related to ur work exp... including checking lead statement,making sure that the docs are genuine and any verification of employers or asking for second review by other officer..

If require they will call for interview BEFORE medicals.......

Basically delay between second line and MR is the time VO spends on Eligibility (second review, if required) Background check and/or interview

But when u see the second line, from that day VO started security and criminality checks.... these checks can be done by third party also....... this is check basically needed to be cleared before PPR

So, pg123 according to you :

--> After PER

I and ex spouse were separated for more than three years now. Our annulment was just granted but it needs
to be annotated yet with the statistics office. It would take about 4-6 months.

I plan to re-marry. Do you think it is best to advise the VO now about it or it is more advisable
to get married after landing in Canada?

Need advise for my application processing scenario.
MR request received on : 31st Oct'14
MR done & RPRF paid online: 19th Nov'14

Last date to intimate New Delhi Embassy was: 14th Dec'14
Proof of medical & RPRF sent on : 29th Nov'14

When I checked my application status, its still showing only 2 lines. 3rd Line for medical still not there. Is it normal or shall I have to contact New Delhi embassy for update?

Same question by me. Medical done on 17th Dec, Proof sent on 19th Dec. Still no 3rd line update from NDVO? ?????/
