My husband is dependent on me..
he is having master degree
and 5.5.band in IELTS
My question is what if We get divorce right now?? what will be effect of our divorce??
can we file divorce after landing Canada??
please help me out..
2) Your processing will get delayed for couple of months due to major change in family composition
3) you will be deprived of the adaptability points, if claimed for your spouse. If you get 67 without them, no problems.
4) If you have kids, or you are pregnant, the custody of kid(s) will be a major hindrance in your case
5) You will be asked to fill a few form again
6) I dont know under what circumstances the divorce is happening, but your spouse may have the custody of some original documents which would be required to be produced by you in original at a later stage. Also, if you have a weak point which could damage your case, he may inform cic about that. Again, it is just an isolated opinion, I dont know your circumstances. Apologies if it doesn't apply on your case.
7) Double check if you will have enough funds to qualify the POF cic needs
8) Medicals are required to be done by the whole family, even if unaccompanied. I dont know after the divorce will this apply or not!
Dont know about the scenario where you reach canada and get the divorce. Other forumites might help.
