Does NDVO ask for bank statements OR POF while sending medical?

Greetings

I just want to share my experience. I came to Canada on work visa and my husband on dependent. We filed open work permit for him which took 3 months. In next 3 months he was able to get job in place like London where IT opportunities are limited. Considering small city salary is also decent and comparable. Couple of things we did was - Create Canadian style resume and good linkedIn profile. Got connected with recruiters using LinkedIn. He missed few opportunities as they wanted PR candidates as open work permit for another 6 months only. So it may take time but we need to keep trying. Based on my observation in Canada, social networking is playing key role in filling positions.

Thanks for your elaboration and I think that what you have mentioned is quite balanced and realistic point of view based upon ground realities faced by several new immigrants landing in a new country and sometimes without anyone to support them and i think that this is what i have tried to convey in my previuos posts. Afterall "Canada is also not a bed of roses". I should say that you will be forced by circumstances already in place there in Canada to choose from either to start from scratch or leave Canada. Again this is what I was able to conclude from my own research and it is just my opinion and point of view. Again someone having evidences contrary to what we have read in above quote or what i have mentioned in my previous posts, you could share as well. Opinions are not binding upon anyone. And in the end essence of all these facts is that to be successfull in Canada you have to increase your stamina of hard workding.

Hi Can anyone comment why there is a delay in issuing MR..many with the same dates have already received their MRs, is it due to the OO Noc..

Please also request gcsm notes. I have seen rare cases here reported by other users that MR never reached their inbox even though it was already issued

Hii I have applied for fsw 2014 under NOC 0121 on 15/12/2014 and found my application was delivered on 22/12/2014 but no signature is available with courrier service. Do anyone have idea about total number of applications received under this NOC and when i will get the first communication from CIC ?

cic has stopped giving cap updates, maybe before sending you must have seen the number of applications. but dont think its a very hot noc.

good luck and you will sail thorugh. signture is not important, as long as courier says delivered it should be fine. but ask for proof of delivery from courier service

People are confused about Background checks vs Criminality and security checks...........


Please be noted that there is a huge difference between those two. PPl are writing personal mesgs about this

Before medicals request, CIC will do all necessary verification of docs related to ur work exp... including checking lead statement,making sure that the docs are genuine and any verification of employers or asking for second review by other officer..

If require they will call for interview BEFORE medicals.......

Basically delay between second line and MR is the time VO spends on Eligibility (second review, if required) Background check and/or interview

But when u see the second line, from that day VO started security and criminality checks.... these checks can be done by third party also....... this is check basically needed to be cleared before PPR

sad situation.

pls call up CIC and try getting your uci no.. you may have to call 10 times before one agent helps you out.

it is the same case with my friend.. app date 24 June, cc charged 10 Nov but no per yet.

he tried calling cic but no avail

good luck.. try calling cic numbers.. they may help you with uci no.
