Most of the times, the company seniors or HR guys are not even called. Background check doesn't just consist of employer calling but many other things like profile checking from websites like facebook and linkedin, casual checks done by Third party with job consultants who know hierarchy and employee lists of most companies, etc.
It is easier to get this info for reputed companies rather than smaller companies. Employer check is done only in extreme cases, where VO is still not convinced.

As I said, there are exceptions. And in the current scenario, most of the guys are waiting for MR. not just MNC guys. This is not because background check is taking time, but because it hasn't been initiated yet, due to the heavy load on VO.

If you want the best test, check for time taken for MR request after 2nd line update. (2nd line is updated just after background check is initiated.) In case of reputed companies, this time will be short.

Also the MNC guys whose MR is pending since long as per you, must have not yet got their 2nd line updated, which means background check isn't yet initiated. Tell me if I am wrong.

Also, I work for a reputed MNC and still waiting for MR. My second line got updated on December 4. What can I infer in my case?

That is for EE applicants i guess the FSW 2014 apps will be processed by LVO

Not all VOs have Economic Control Units (ECU) that process FSW apps. Therefore, Abu Dhabi CPR apparently got its very own ECU. Processing routines vary because of defferent level of security scrutiny in regards to citizens of some countries. So, it is unknown if this ADVO will offer faster service than LVO.

But I think that they have re-started the processing of FSW applications at several Visa Offices in several countries of the world. For example Abu Dhabi and Islamabad were discontinued in the past for processing of FSW applications and all the applicants from Middle East and Pakistan were routed to London Visa office. But now it seems that they have re-started processing of FSW applications at these two visa offices and along with these two visa offices several other visa offices around the world have been included the list of visa offices processing FSW applications. I think that the reason could be to speed up the processing. Because for Express Entry CIC have been advertising that they will try to take decision within 6-months of less for Express Entry selected applicants. Therefore to speed up the process they have increased the number of visa offices permitted to process FSWP applications.

Could you please provide your opinion in this regard.

I sent my application in Dec 2014. I forgot to put the copies of my degree and diploma but i have attached my original ECA report. Is this reject my application.

Copies of degrees are mandatory. They need proof of foreign educational credentials apart from ECA report.

Hi Century/Seniors
I am June applicant and got PER on Oct 27.
Since then I have not heard anything from LVO. There is no second line update as well.
Now, I have to withdraw some money from my bank account that i used for showing my Funds. After this withdrawal, the amount in my bank will remain less than minimum Funds required.
Please let me know if I withdraw money, will this effect my further process.

It wont affect, but ideally maintain the required amount as CIC may ask for 6 month statements if they doubt your settlement funds.

Immigration is a very tough battle. It will be much harder to get good jobs and good house on the first years, you will have to get used to the weather....

You have to be really sure that this is what you want. It's not something to face without a lot of determination.

Hello all,
I have a situation here and don't know what to do. I have applied for FSW in June 2014 & Got PER on 21 Oct.
I am living in Saudi arabia, but now I am moving to Australia permanently on final exit. I have not sent PCC with my application and i don't know when i will get PCC request from LVO. If i move out of Saudi on exit it would be so much difficult to get PCC. In this situation what should i do to get PCC from Saudi.
I mean whom should i contact to get PCC Request Letter? Can someone please help me out on this.
