Friends, my wife applied for fsw 2014. app date June 16.

we received MR request on 24 Dec 2014 and medicals done on 27th Dec 2014.

Today (4 Jan 2015) status shows medicals received.

any idea, do I need to send PCC at this stage or will i be asked to send later.

also, between 3 rd line update and PPR, whats the general time frame now-a-days

If u did not get Medicals and Decision Made means.... Rejection....\

If u have done medicals in the past year then it could be Approval of application,,,

My query was abt "DECISION MADE" and PPR which comes post "Medicals received"...
My Medicals were done way before in Sep.

And I don't think ur statement, "If u did not get Medicals and Decision Made means.... Rejection..." is true. If I'm not wrong, There wont be ECAS status update at all in first place without "Medicals".
Request you to pls be sure with accuracy in ur responses. Any half-knowledged/false response would get the forumites more worried n tensed.

Good to hear that you are already in bro,...... 1111 is a hot NOC. You should receive your MR in couple of months depending on your VO (Visa Office). All the best.

I was checking "http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u" link and found that the FSW applications are being sent to Abu Dhabi office for UAE applicants. Earlier it was London, so does it mean that CIC is trying to speed up the process by assigning local VO?

ECAS STATUS "DECISION MADE OR WITHDRAWN " BEFORE MEDICALS MEANS REJECTION ONLY IN FWSP APPLICATIONS

some agents are telling that CIC/CIO will have some additional privileges who can extend the validity of DDs. Is it true?

100% false. Validity depends on the bank and not by CIC. If the bank don't honor DD after validity expires, no way CIO can get the money.

Now what should i do now?

Brother, if you are July applicant and bank confirm you that your DD has not been encashed, then it does not sound good. Shoot an e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca . Mention your full name, date of birth, and UCI (if you have), when your application was received and by whom, your passport number.

It is possible because i think they didn't send the e-mail at all. They updated in the GCMS but didn't send the email. It happens & happened.

Could they really reject an application because of that? Or maybe it would have just cause a delay (they must would realize at some point that the email had not been sent?)?

Yes, that's correct. I believe CIC is assigning local offices to speed up the process.
