My file was returned back to CIC by the post office (non deliverable). This was confirmed to me through email by CIC.

I think I should wait my FSW2014 file to move to VO before I should ask CIC to return back my FSW2013 file. What do you suggest.

What are the draw backs of carrying CAD$25000 in cash while immigrating with family (3 persons)? If I carry my bank statements as a proof that this amount belongs to me and I'm taking it as settlement funds and declare it at port of entry in Canada and also fulfill any other documentary requirement...then what's the drawback if any?

There is no drawback of carrying cash. But for some country, it is illegal to carry cash of this amount out of the country.

Regarding bank statement, if the bank is not Canadian, the port authority may not accept bank statements.

Step 1:
Write a cover letter explaining why certificates and photocopy was missed. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package through which courier. Send the letter

Step 2:
After one week of your additional documents being received to CIO, send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca asking whether your additional documents have been added to the original application package. Attach the scan copy of your certificates. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package as well as additional documents through which couriers.

Ashif_eee, I sent you a PM, decided to write here also.

I read your story and have a couple of questions.

1. How is that possible not to receive an email from VO? What are possible reasons? Email is not a physical post, how can the email get lost? Isn't the email bounced back to sender in case of some server trouble? - in this case the VO would know that the applicant did not receive the email, right?
2. What service did you use to apply for GCMS notes?

Maybe there are some 217x guys here who can throw some light on the first question?

Send it through VFS only...sending our passports via courier will create confusion...

I have send it through Bluedart and later on after stamping your will never come to know when it will be delivered to your address.....

Do not send it via courier....

My spouse was recalled for X-RAY while doing medical. Do I need to worry or is it ok. After asking for what was the reason they told, "we directly send the report to CHC". Is there anything to worry. She did not have ant communicable diseases like TB etc earlier.

IS IT TRUE ??


100% false. Validity depends on the bank and not by CIC. If the bank don't honor DD after validity expires, no way CIO can get the money.

Now what should i do now?
