7. What will happen to permanent residence applications you receive before the launch of Express Entry?

Applications received by CIC before the launch of Express Entry will be processed according to the rules in place at that time.

What does it mean???

"at that time" means time your app was received by CIC.

Application reached at CIC, NS on or before 31 Dec 2014 will be processed as per the rules set forth for FSW2014 Program initiated in May 2014 which has been replaced by EE from 01 Jan 2015. Any application after 31 Dec 2014 should be routed under EE as per the directions given on cic web page.

On a separate note however, there are numerous applicants who have applied under FSW2014 program and their cases are in very initial stages, have also entered themselves into EE Program. There is no harm in doing that.

Hope this clarifies.

Ashif_eee, I sent you a PM, decided to write here also.

I read your story and have a couple of questions.

1. How is that possible not to receive an email from VO? What are possible reasons? Email is not a physical post, how can the email get lost? Isn't the email bounced back to sender in case of some server trouble? - in this case the VO would know that the applicant did not receive the email, right?
2. What service did you use to apply for GCMS notes?

Maybe there are some 217x guys here who can throw some light on the first question?

It is possible because i think they didn't send the e-mail at all. :) They updated in the GCMS but didn't send the email. It happens & happened.

My spouse was recalled for X-RAY while doing medical. Do I need to worry or is it ok. After asking for what was the reason they told, "we directly send the report to CHC". Is there anything to worry. She did not have ant communicable diseases like TB etc earlier.

Did the doc doing the MR not tell of you any anomalies ?

DID YOU GOT UR MEDICALS DONE ?

WETHER THRID LINE WAS UPDATED ?

My Medicals were done way before.
MR/RPRF mail received - 18-Sep
Medicals done - 22-Sep
ECAS updated to "Medicals have been received" - 22-Oct

My question was to know if anyone whose ECAS status updated to "DECISION MADE" post 20-Dec, received their PPR. :-)
