Dear senior members,

I initially applied under FSW2013 but my application was returned to me since the NOC I applied under got capped. The package never reached me since delivery to a physical address in UAE is only possible with Courier but CIC uses normal post. The package is still with CIC. My original query about my package was replied in July 2014. I did not reply to that.

Then I applied again this year under FSW2014. My application reached CIC on 22nd Sept 2014 and my CC was charged on 10th December 2014.

Anyhow, I have three questions. Please help and advance thanks.

1. When my 1st application under FSW2013 was returned, did they issue any UCI number to me. BTW, I never got that number even if they issued.

2. If I ask CIC to return my FSW2013 application, is there a chance that by mistake they can send my current application (CC Charged) under FSW2014 back to me as well.

3. Am I under normal timelines for FSW2014 for PER issuance. It's been 25 days since CC charged.

It will take few (4-6) weeks to get answer.

You bet, but what else remains apart from waiting, raising CSE and applying for GCMS?

I suggest apply for gcms asap
In 30 days you will come to know where is your file and why.

I have read lot of cases where gcms saved them (ashif is one of the example )

you have been helping people in this forum and we are very thankful for this. As per the VO's activities and time taken by them, I am compelled to think that entire verification process of VO starts after medical request. Scenario might be different in previous years. So, I request you to put light on this and make us clear.

As in this forum, I did not heard anybody reported verification/interview after MR, so I don't think background verification is done after MR. There is absolutely no point for MR and RPRF if VO is unsure of background. It would increase unnecessary workload. For example, once for receiving RPRF and then refund the amount after refusal. All the work on processing the MR and updating in ECAS would become unnecessary job if the application is rejected.

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen to the request 3 times without entering any client id number.

For case specific query, you need to e-mail at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca . Mention your full name, date of birth, UCI (if you have), passport number.

After 20 days of your PER, inform your VO through CSE. You may need to submit revised generic form, background declaration, BC, passport, and photos of your children, relieving letter, joining letter and new contract, revised travel history form, and CAD150 DD.

3. Am I under normal timelines for FSW2014 for PER issuance. It's been 25 days since CC charged. Current trend is around 30 days. So you are within timeline

No MR will be requested after eligibility pass... in many mr and rprf request emails they mention that ur criminal and security checks are in progress......

U may order GCMS notes to see these things... also it is given in operator manual of CIC

Many ppl after medicals waiting for PPR for months as these checks are in progress

Once the processing office has determined that an applicant is a member of the Federal Skilled
Worker Class pursuant to R75, the principal applicant and their family members, whether
accompanying or not, must complete medical examinations if required, and pass criminal and
security checks.

Interview will be before medicals for sure...

Be optimistic but do not imagine things on ur own and please do not provide wrong information based on ur assumptions...


U paid them the application processing fee at the beginning,,....and its their job to process things go and see ppl were rejected after medicals as they failed to show proof of funds availability before finalizing application... fsw phd after nov5 canada vis forum

I have seen processing started (2nd line) after MR being issued. It is also being shown in GCMS. But why does not it happen to other? Why some people get Decision Made after MR why other get after Passport is being received. Why we did not get a single case of interview call after medical if checking is done after MR? Why do you think operational manual is not maintained from VO to VO?

If you have your own opinion, pls provide.

If you think my assumption is wrong, provide proof for NDVO. Pls let me know, why 4 applicants in the spreadsheet being called for interview without Medical Request? Why none after MR being called for interview?

I am 20 Oct. applicant in NOC 2132, and I have not received any CC or PER till now.
I couldn't control my stress, because any result of this process can change my future life.
With today, it is 75-day period that I don't know about my future.
What do you think?
As you know with final updated table, 207 person were in pending and I don't know whether I am in this list or not. Can I be in cap?

Hang on buddy, PER can take up to four months on the worst side but as long as u won't hear anything from CIO, there is a positive hope for u.
