Hi Puneet,

I guess that your application will take time till end of Jan 2015 or Upto middle of Feb to get File number. Over all process may go till April / May 2015. Not earlier than that with the current trend. Once after you do medicals, the Visa will be issued with the validity of one year regardless of any other changes happening (like getting married or to include a new born or death of a family member) . If you fail to land within that period, you loose all the work you have done. So, think plan and decide.

So as u mentioned in this case if new born gets added after medicals do we need to undergo another MR or what would bee the process

Dear All

I am category 2171 applicant. Received my PER in Oct and request for PCC and medical sometime in mid Nov. Since I am in UK for almost 4 years now, I need to get the PCC both from UK and India.

I submitted the landing fees, got the medical for self and spouse, but for my kid the system prompted to get the paediatrician report. It is festive season here and could not get any specialist appointment before 6th Jan, moreover I have not received the UK PCC (shutdown/postal delays etc)

My original request from Delhi VO suggested me to complete the stuff along with payment by 29th Dec else there the application could be refused. I sent them whatever I had yesterday (landing fees receipt, medical completion of self and wife/copy of India PCC) but few are still pending.
I also requested via their support system requesting extn for couple of weeks to complete and send other stuff to Delhi VO, but email reply suggests they will reply within 28 days (that doesn't help me)

One thought which scare me is loosing this opportunity reaching this far. What is the experts advise what can I do from my end? Shall I worry or loose hope

Sorry to hear that but it seems that you yourself is the trouble maker for your case... Sorry for using the harsh words but it seems that you yourself is not so serious.. As per the VO last date to submit the docs was 29th Dec and you and you waited till 29th..

Well.. First of all NDVO responds within 3 to 4 days if you send email to Delhiimmigration@@international.gc.ca... And they consider these kind of cases and give 30 to 45 days of extension also.. So do not worry and gather rest of the documents as soon as possible and send it to NDVO.. I have not heared any cases yet where due to delay in submission of docs they have refused or rejected the case but offcourse it will delay your case..

Coming to the second point.. What system you are using where you got the prompt to submit paediatrician report.. How old is your kid.. I have a 4 year and 6 year old kid and I got there medicals done and at the hospital the Doctor just did normal checkup for the kids and asked if all the shots and vacctinations are done for them.. No blood test or X Ray was done for them..

You should have done Medicals and submitted RPRF a month ago and could have got extension for PCC accordingly...
But Don't worry VO's understand the applicants situation for arrangements of PCC and will consider your case after little late too.. Ashif had some issue from his VO end and he got extension also..
