Hi everyone! Congrats to all who got good news! My ECAS status reads "Decision Made", but I'm still waiting for the passport request. Although, I know this procedure has become usual for NDVO, but my VO - Bucharest VO - has never requested passports after "Decision Made" status. That's why I'm a little worried.
At the same time, I can see in the spreadsheet, in the "Applications by VO" section, that there have been rejection/return cases for Bucharest VO. Where can I see the timeline and more details about these cases? Kindly guide me. Thanks a lot.

I urgently need your guidance.. so please help me.. I applied under NOC 1111 on 27th Nov. I want to know approximately how much time it takes to get PR from application date..? And in how many days we have to shift in Canada after receiving PR..?? I got selected in one of institute in India, now either I m having option to wait for all PR process to be completed n join any college in Canada or join the institute here for 2 years n den do job in Canada.. : ??? I can join institute only if I get approximately 18 to 24 months period.

So please guide and help.

You should inform them about the mistake and request to be allowed to send an updated form IMM5669E. I would also suggest that you keep the line of communication open...and for assurance that NDVO office responded to the query without doubt, You should not send the corrected forms but ask them to allow him to submit. You won't go wrong.

Hi Puneet,

I guess that your application will take time till end of Jan 2015 or Upto middle of Feb to get File number. Over all process may go till April / May 2015. Not earlier than that with the current trend. Once after you do medicals, the Visa will be issued with the validity of one year regardless of any other changes happening (like getting married or to include a new born or death of a family member) . If you fail to land within that period, you loose all the work you have done. So, think plan and decide.

keeping in mind the speed of current years processing it might take anywhere from 8-12 months to get PR... once approved you need to make your landing in CAD within one year.....

Hi All,

My revised IELTS result(along with tracking information of my already deliverd application on 19th December) has already been reached at CIO yesterday 29th December at 03:45PM Sydeney time to MCNEIL at CIO.

Although i have already sent an email to CIO on 20th December, about this revised IELTS result that it will be reached at CIO before the end of December. But this email was sent on 20th December. But yesterday on 29th December, the revised IELTS result is received at CIO at: 03:45PM Sydney time and received by MCNEIL.

Should I send another email and explain them that my revised IELTS result which I mentioned in my 20th December email has been already deliverd at CIO by UPS AWB and received by MCNEIL.

OR my initial email will be sufficient enough in which i told them approximate delivery date of my revised IELTS result as before end of December?

Firstly the required POF is in CAD$ and not US$. Also when you sent your application was the exchange rate you used more than your expected POF at the time it was received? If those questions are correct then they would send you an email after PER but before MR that you do not have enough funds to sustain yourself and will ask you to send an updated POF before a final decision is taken on your application.

Just make sure you have enough when that request is made cheers ;D
