UCI is the required number for checking ECAS. If you have deal with CIC before you must have an UCI because it remains the same for every applicant (most of the times). UCI comes in PER email but some people have managed to obtain it by calling CIO. Could you please share your timeline?

My application was received by CIO on August 20 and CC was charged on November 11. I guess even including the holidays my PER should have been there by now, but surprisingly haven't got it.

Hi All,

I submitted my passport(s) yesterday at VFS, Nehru Place, New Delhi around 1:30 PM.. Paid in Cash Rs. 638 per passport for the processing fees.. They said that Do I want it to be delivered at my address or will come to pick up.. I asked if it is free means included in Rs. 638.. Answer was NO.. Its additional Rs. 377 per passport.. I have 4 passport including my spouse and kids.. So.. I choose to pick it up from there office which will cost me Rs. 100 at the max... They said get the authorization letter from Spouse to pick her Passport.. Also I got individual tracking number for each passport and I can start tracking it from Today..

This whole process took less than half an hour..When I came out I met with Arvind Kejriwal who was giving his speech in Nehru Place Market.. ;D ;D

If we are not having proof of USA visa rejection then how we provide proof of rejection.

I had seen majority of the applicant had not mention USA visa rejection and most of the consultant not recommend to mention it in Application form.

So according to me not to worry if you had not mention your USA visa rejection as Canada Visa Officer have enough information with all possible reason of rejection.

That's NOT true at all...It's ok if you do not have that generic rejection paper ..Let's not even get to the level of knowledge these crappy consultants have....

Yes, the Canadian VO will have enough information about your USA Visa Rejection when they run a criminality check on you, one process being looking you up on the US Immigration database, which the US has shared with Canada. During this time, all your US visa rejections will definitely crop up...which is OK...if you've already declared from your end on the form during initial submission or later by sending them an apology letter and revised forms visa courier. If you have NOT declared it and then they find out, they MAY consider it misrepresentation and ban you for a few years from entering Canada by any means. A lot is at stake by not declaring...and well, they can find this out anytime..now...after you get a PR or even 20 years after you get Canadian Citizenship, and will then deport you....why live in so much uncertainty?? Rather just proactively declare it, it won't affect you application negatively, that's for sure.

Hello all..My question is regarding PCC from India..
My present address is different from my address on passport...so PCC would take more time.
But i want to get the PCC faster by furnishing proofs of my passport address , will it create any problems for me during background checks by NDVO. Because in documents submitted to CIC i have mentioned my present address and to get PCC i have mentioned my passport address.
Please help !!

Some people say that if the total number processed exceeds the Visa Office's quota, the Visa Office will not issue PR until next year. Is it a correct info?

Hi Everyone,

I have sent my application on December 26th via UPS and they promised delivery in 3 days and now it's showing delivery by January 2nd. I got delayed due my ECA. Do you think cic will accept applications that got delayed in the mai and reach in the first week of January 2015?

What a great sensation that some people are still giving -1 in the dark while I will be getting my passport with Visa tomorrow. Get a life....
