Hi!
This is my first post. My application for FSWP received date is Sep 15 and encashment has been done on Nov 30 but still I did not receive PER or any other update. I saw some posts here about checking status in web without getting PER. Can anyone tell me how can I check any update on my application.

hi u can check your status only if you have a UCI number.
For which you need to call CIC and get one.
Ideally within 15 days of encashment you should have received the PER .
check u r junk spam folders .
also write to them asking for your app status which would be answered in 45 days time.

You should have UCI to check ECAS status. If you do not have then u have only one option to wait for your PER.

Dear seniors, I have logged in again after a month. Actually I was disappointed that just after sending my App back in 9th October the caps were already filled to 1000 in November 4th week itself, so I thought that its all over and I was waiting for my package to be returned

But, I logged in again today after a Month's gap and see a totally different table in the CIC site. I dont know does it mean that something positive for me or not but to be in a clear understanding I need all the help of all the seniors.

They say that they have processed 836 apps till now and yet to process 169 apps. My question is there anyone in 2171, whose CC got charged or whats the recent charge date for apps on 2171??

Don't worry dear. Hopefully, you will get PER by this week. I'm also waiting for PER.

On the additional family form i filled both one for my spouse and one foer myself, however i filled my name as the applicant for both forms and my spouse as the spouse for both.

Will my application be refused for this?
What can i do?

Thanks very much. I guess it is not a problem because CIC is talking about Dakar,Senegal when I actually indicated that I wanted Mexico VO because I live and am a citizen of a country(Belize) beside Mexico. Senegal is in Africa which is very far from me.
Secondly, what do you guys mean by first line, second line and so forth. When I logged in , I only say "IN PROCESS" after which I received the email for "PER." What line is "IN PROCESS" considered to be and what should I expect after that my friends.

In Process is actually not any line, its status. when u click it, a new webpage will open and in that webpage it will show u the lines with numbers. u can expect ur 1st line there which indicates that they received ur file on this and this date.

2nd line is about when did they started processing ur file.

3rd line is about when did they received your medicals.

I am september 8 applicant and still no news

i am Sept 11 Applicant, have not received the application from CIC , i am worried about the DD.
Also i have changed the address and the bank as confirmed that my DD is not encashed yet.
will prepare for express entry not sure if should wait for my DD to be returned and then apply for express entry? any opinions?

What is fair for someone is unfair for somebody else. We don't make rules, CIC does. All we can do is try to fit in.

I'd say that Express Entry favors young people with good English or French.
But yeah, that was exactly my point — it's different for different people. And it's just variety of trends, today the language is valued, tomorrow something else will take its place... Once, just for fun, I opened CIC site in the Internet Archive and applied my current skills and abilities to immigration requirements under FSW that had been effective over various years. Well, somewhere in 1999, I wouldn't squeeze in either.

I don't think they tighten anything to restrict entry — they DO need immigrants. Otherwise they would just shut everything down, like England or USA did.

You don't get an acknowledgement from CIC no matter where you send your package. Your shipping carrier will be able to tell you if your package has been delivered to the address and that's about it.

We can't help you if you don't say where you are from. Medical fees are charged by each doctor and rates vary a lot from location to location.
