Re: US Visa Refusal not mentioned

Hello Fellow Forumites,

I have seen a lot of people in this forum who belong to the below scenario and I am one among them:

A Visa refusal not being mentioned in the Schedule A Background Declaration - IMM5669. My US student visa was refused about 12 years ago and I forgot to mention it in the form (since it occured to me that I should only mention visa refusal in the last 10 years - MY MISTAKE. I notice NOW that it says EVER)

It would help a lot of us who find ourselves in this situation wherein we have received PER. The question is how do we put it across to the local VO. Is it after we receive MR or soon after PER?

Any help from those who have already got their third line updated in ECAS in guiding us.

Appreciate your time and assitance!!

Hi All

I have couple of queries regarding PCC.

1.I have stayed in different parts of India from last 7-8 years but what I understood from many earlier posts that a single PCC for India is sufficient. Correct me if I am wrong.

2.Is PCC required from all the places where I was staying in India from last 1 year or a single PCC from my permanent address will be fine?

1. One country, one PCC. Confirmed.
2. single PCC from your permanent address will be fine.

I am also 23/10 applicant
I did the same with my bank and told me they can't say if the DD was debited or not, as it is with the corespondent bank in Canada
Better wait to receive the PER

In my opinion, soon after PER is best. There could be situation where VO find the misrepresentation themselves and directly refuse your application with 2 years inadmissible penalty. So, waiting for MR is associated with risk. Also if you claim your mistake before they detect themselves, it is very hard for VO to convict applicant as misrepresentation. At worst case, the processing could be delayed and lengthy.

Only the positive point for informing VO after MR could be the following: VO stamped your background as clear and now after issuing MR, they might not want to prove themselves wrong.

Apart from this, citizenship could be cancelled anytime if misrepresentation is found in the application.

So, you assess the risk and return yourself and need to make your own decision yourself.

It is really a vague area. Just use the guideline given in the PER about informing your VO. If you think, according to the guideline, you need to inform, then do inform else wait, if VO itself want to know your fund status, then inform.

Hi, I know theres a lot of topic about saudi pcc in this forum but I cannot find a case that is same with what I have.. So here is my case.

I've work in saudi for 1 year in a three year contract, but didn't finish it I left kingdom on a vacation (that was 5 years ago) not on final exit visa but on exit and re-entry visa. Now I'm working in UAE , I believe consulate in saudi wont process my saudi pcc because I dont have the final exit visa stamped on my passport.Unfortunately I don't have the Iqama copy but KSA RP (now expired) is stamped on passport
( I got fed up with job and life in KSA and left in a hurry so never bothered to save a copy of Iqama or any other docs )

What do I have to do now? Is there any options on how to obtain it? , I received PER couple of weeks before, I read in some thread that PCC in case of KSA is required only for current legal residents and in my understanding KSA authorities will issue PCC only in such scenario. But I got no leads to confirm this info.

Will CIC waive PCC requirement for KSA , Is there any chance that CIC will accept any explanation letter regarding my case??

I need your help and suggestions again please..
thanks..

Any update on NOC 0013 latest timelines??? Could not get picture from SS ??? ???
