How much is the expiry of your immigrant visa?

It would be 1 year from the date of medicals or the Passport expiry date. whichever is shortest.

fbi fingerprints

Hi
I stayed in USA for 5 years until 2002. It is more than 13 years ago. Should I still need FBI fingerprints?
Thanks for your advice.

I am also 2132 applicant
I think they will ask to have about 70% of the main duties as shown in NOC
The title doesn't matter so much , as it differ from one employer to another
My job description is Principal engineer , but I am doing lead mechanical engineer duties

I am not sure of 70% or some required matching. If you can get your manager write a details job description. Then you will be fine.

You can draft it and have manager review and approved. If you write three paragraph to fill one A4 sheet. You would have nailed it!

How do you think the impact of EE to FSW2014?

We know that CIC will launch the first draw of EE at the end of Jan and by that time I guest still many July apps of FSW2014 won't get their visas. Since they have guaranteed 80% of EE apps will be finished in 6 months (but no such promise for FSW2014), I bet the speed of FSW2014 will be affected. In this case, maybe the first round of EE apps will get their visas earlier than OCT/NOV/DEC FSW2014 apps!

So, should we also compete in EE (which means another payment, darn!)

You will need to provide an FBI certificate.

yes, u need.
in my case, they still requested for PCC from a country i lived 16 years ago.
from what i read on a forum, a guy had to take the PPC from the place he lived 30 years ago.
CIC is obessed with their outdate guideline.

Yes, anyone can apply if they qualify under any of the federal programs in express entry.

I sent in my application somewhere early/mid November, but haven't received an AOR yet. Don't know if this is a normal timeline?
Also, will they still process my application as soon as 2015 starts? They (should have) received it in 2014, but no AOR. Is that enough to be considered in time for processing under the current rules?
