You have to call your Bank and ask abt the DD encashment. if it was successful, sit back and relax and expect your PER to hit your inbox soon.

Guys,

I do have an urgent question; my brother took his ILTES exam early December and he will be receiving his results on December 28th. However, if he mail the documents on the 28th from our country it will not reach CIC before the 31st. Is there anything else could be done?
I was thinking of asking him to mail the complete signed documents to me in Canada and I will mail it from here including scanned copy of his ILTES results along with explanation letter, do you think this will work?

Your advice is highly appreciated!

One way possible contact any one who will b leaving to canada on 29th dec,so that he can submitt by hand in CIC.

Hi , I called CIC yesterday and successfully got my UCI number.
given that I am a 30 October, What information can I get with it and when?
I tried to open ecas but it shows that it's not on the database so far!! Should it show "we received your file on xxxx"?????

For most cases, ECAS is updated within a week of charging. For few cases, it get updated after few weeks of receiving PER. So wait for the PER news if not get updated. Meanwhile you can send query at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca to know the status. It will take around 50 days to get response. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your package, the name of courier, and tracking number.
