Hi All,

I'm planning to take up Acces Employment's bridge training program. They help immigrants get jobs in their relevant field.
I'm applying under NOC 1112 and planning to take up Financial Services/Leadership Connections program.

Has anyone here pursued this program by chance? Or has any of your friends/contacts or previous applicants heard or taken this program? Please share your feedback.

This will be helpful for me and other applications who are planning to consider this.

We were asked to carry original passport, medical request form, a photograph and photocopy of 1st and last pages of passport.

As soon as we arrived, we were asked to fill in the forms (2 forms)
1. A normal form, where in you need to tick "Yes" or "No" (15-20 basic questions about your medical history.)
2. Another form is to fill your name and other personal details
Took 10 mins to fill a form.

Then we were asked to wait for few minutes to complete the registration process.
After the registration, our photo was taken and then physical examination done.
10 - 15 minutes for this physical examination - During the physical examination, doctor asked us about past medical history, and then checked out BP, height and weight.
Then we went to x-ray department and taken chest x-ray.
Then our blood was taken and asked us to give urine sample.
After that we went for eye check-up. A normal eye test and we were asked to read some alphabets.
Overall, it took 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the formalities.

As per the staff, they check Blood (Hemogram, HIV, and VDRL) Urine, Chest x-ray (mainly to diagnose TB) and ophthalmic exam (eye test). They also told me that they check diabetic
I asked the doctor and receptionist about the result but they said it's confidential but if they find any abnormality, then only they can disclose it.

After all these test, they give us the same medical request form with their seal and doctor's signature. They asked me to send it to VO and the report would go from hospital within 3 days.

Please help me out.......I Am really worried that is is been delayed more tha 70 days after getting PR?

1. Mode of sending; courier / postal?
2. How does the visa office send the passport back? (Should we send the return charges or we arrange the return through courier?)
3. Address to send the passport?

Just calm down and enjoy the Christmas eve! Have a few beers tomorrow, that'll do! ;D 8)

Because, that's what CIC employees do during this time of the year! ;D

Expect things to be slow until 2st week of Jan!

This applies even if your dependent not accompanying you.
If there is a change in your dependent due to any unforeseen circumstances, you need to inform the VO.

My thoughts and yes, as per CIC guidelines.

Yes, medicals are needed for everyone applying for a PR visa. If non custodial child is not part of your application then no. However, in any case CIC will specifically mention who needs medical exam in Medical Request if I'm correct.

For police clearance certificate, should I get the PCC done for both myself and my wife (dependent) ? or is it fine to get it done only for the main applicant?

Can some body please reply to this... do we need to pay RPRF for infant.. Because it was mentioned in the fee schedule as below:

Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 26,700

No need to pay for Infant and dependent children.
