WHAT I NEED TO DO SO THAT MY CC GET CHARGED SMOOTHLY... EXPERT PLEASE..
1 - Be sure you have sufficient funds in the credit card and raise the limit that can be withdraw from it.
2 - Check if international transactions are enable.
3 - Keep it at home and try not to lose it.
4 - A couple of members have reported the bank tried to change their card in a renovation policy. Try to keep your card until the payment is cleared.

Around 50 days. Anyway you can always check the SS to get the most updated information on average time between stages of the process.

You are fine with the total funds.
If you used your credit card to pay for wes's fees then you should do nothing more, anyway I think it could be done from the online account, if not call your bank.
I THINK a 3 digit cvv is ok...

application sent after jan 1 will be processed according to ee criteria

If you applied before January 1, 2015:
Your application will be processed under the rules in place at the time you applied.
Find out how long it will take for CIC to process your application.
If you applied on or after January 1, 2015:
Our goal is to process most complete applications received under Express Entry in six months or less.
We currently only have processing times for people who applied under the old system.
Processing times tell you how long it took Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to process applications in the past. Since Express Entry is a new system and not enough applications have been received yet, processing times are not available but we have committed to process applications in six months or less.

ya i got medicals from my visa office without getting PER from CIC directly after getting charged...it may sometimes happen.

Could it be possible that those who were charged and not gotten PER has been sent to the VO and will receive the PER when CIO is less busy? :o :o :-\

Reposting again

Hi all,

Urgent guidance required...

I had applied on 2nd October, through a consultancy firm in Canada.

My payment is also routed through consultant's credit card.

Looking at current trends, I believe 2nd October applicants have been charged.

Consultants are saying they cannot and will not be able to trace charging for my application as there is no file number attached to charging transaction.

I am desperate to know whether my application has reached CIC and also, whether its complete as per CIC norms.

Myself or my consultant have heard nothing from CIC since I have applied.

Can any one guide how can I know status of my application?

I tried to ask CIC call centre but they refused to provide any info.

Is there any other way?

Thats the beauty of hiring a consultant :P

Only option is to get thru cic helpline and asking them about application status after identifying application

Or wait for PER
