Hello,

Quick questions regarding employer reference letters. I applied in category 0111 in November.

1, Does CIC contact the employers to validate the letter of reference or the VO does it?
2, Do they always contact the employer or only sometimes?
3, What happens if they cannot reach the company/boss? (company went bankrupt, no longer exists - so noone will answer the phone/email)
4, Should we send an additional letter to CIC explaining the situation? We mentioned this bankruptcy issue in the application, but only gave the central contact information for the company. Shall we write now and give them the private phone number of my ex-boss? Or shall we wait for PER and send an update to VO?

2) Can i apply for USA PR while holding canada PR ??any laws regarding that...

Could it be possible that those who were charged and not gotten PER has been sent to the VO and will receive the PER when CIO is less busy? :-\

There are cases that they did not get their and received mr. If you are already charged, then you dont have to worry. You'll get per sooner or later.

1) where and when will i be stamped with permanent resident ..at the canada airport or NDVO?? You will complete the landing formalities in Canadian Airport
2) Can i apply for USA PR while holding canada PR ??any laws regarding that... You can always apply for US PR or Aust PR while holding Canadian PR

Medical done on December 10th ( panel Physician had E medical enabled)
I confirmed with Physician's office that my medical results were uploaded to CIC on December 17th,
3rd line added to ECAS on December 19th :We have received medical results
