Finally after a long wait, i have received PER. Thanku god and my awesome forum family :-)

App received- 29th aug
Cc charged - 23rd nov
Per received - 20th december
Noc - 0113
Sent addendum reference letters - 24 th october
Receivedreply from cic on 15 th december to my mail of 24th oct- docs will be attached to my initial application

The key points of my app -
1. Followed document checklist thoroughly.
2. Sent photocopies of reference letters, marksheets, degrees, didnt notarize anything
3. sent affidavit for birth certificate since my 10th marksheet didnt hv my parents name. Made self affidavit as well as from parents
4. My reference letters had a typo of wrong year mentioned in it, to correct this, i sent addendum documents
5. My credit card was told by bank that it wl b replaced with new chip card, but i convinced them to delay this till i get charged by cic, after lots of convincing they finally agreed.
6. I didnt send any letter of employment for a job which was different from my noc since i didnt want points for it.

You all have played a very important role in this and helped me all the way...

Hi everybody,
I've seen people in this forum reporting "interview waived" in their timeline. Wondering what this interview is basically all about and applies to who? I mean, supposing all the docs in your application are authentic, accurate and with sufficient supporting docs, is it still likely to be called for an interview at some stage during the process? And if yes, is it a big issue? I mean, is there any chances you get rejected following a poor interview??! :o I got my PER on 14 December and was hoping that the rest of the journey would be pretty downhill, but now it seems there is still one more hill to conquer, right?! ???

Different issue or Another issue. GCMS or ABCD. Ultimately 3rd line updated in ECAS. By seeing what they update in ECAS.

Soft copy itself enough or Hardcopy send by us or both hard & soft copy.

No need to send anything related to medical tests to VO from applicant's end in case of eMedical examination.

Hello Guys,

Can anyone tell me whats the last date a CC was charged for NOC 2173??
I tried checking the spreadsheet, but was not able to understand.

Dear Friends,

I have read somewhere in the forum that online app status as “we have received your application on …..” means that PER is on its way. Is it correct? My CC has got charged on Nov 23rd and I had tried chcking my application status online by using my document number mentioned on the Canadian Visa. And it is showing “we have received your application on Sept 4, 2014:.

Please advise. Thanks!

Dear Friends,

It means that your app cleared completeness check, cost recovery and GCMS data entry and is in queue for review. It doesn't guarantee PER as the review can be negative too.

Kindly refrain from using large fonts. It is irritating.

WE ALL ARE VERY HAPPY FOR U RIYA.............CONGRATS N +1

Many of my friends and relatives migrated to Canada. I never heard that they needed interview

If the applicant can well present his/her case by providing sufficient evidence in the form of supporting documents, interviews are mostly waived. In this forum, there's another thread to discuss about interviews. You can sure check that.

Friends,

Are we required to have one PCC each country? My wife has lived in different cities since the age of 18, she has been residing in the current city since Jan 2012. PCC dates for the current city will be mentioned from Jan 2012 to present. Will that be considered fine by LVO?

You are welcome.
There is no such rulebook that I am aware of, just common sense implying that you don't consider your posts above all in terms of urgency and importance (unless, they contain some information that is beneficial to the whole community - CIC announcements, SS improvements, etc). Certainly there are people who don't care, but is it wise following a bad example?

Regards,
Dip
