there is no confusion at all!
if you have an equivalency of a Canadian master degree, you will gain 23 points. that's for sure. the field of study does not matter in this case.

On the same boat here brother..... The only difference is my actual company i.e. third party contractor has provided me the reference letter and it has mention of IT company and project I work for after my manager's approval of course..... DD charged on 26th November and still waiting for PER.

But also have another 2 years of experience in the same NOC so even if they do not consider my current employment, points are likely to cross the threshold of 67 points.

Lets hope both of us get the good news soon this or the coming week. All the very best.

lol i didnt mean to flatter you at all and what i said is perfectly suit to your personality.
i have helped too many people from my country when they first landed financially and by other means. all i got back from them nothing but cheating. many owe money some didnt even say thanks after driving 750 kms one way to pick them up from airport. so eventually i stopped helping people and now i feel so happy that there are still people in this planet with big hearts. i am in this forum not to show off but to upgrade and process my knowledge on fsw.

What is this new column in CIC website, it say's Pending application( Complete application waiting for MI Review acceptance) and for 2171 the number is 161, does it mean that there are still chances for sept 17 applicant????

Thanks Buddy. Yes, i have attached the agreement letter, reliving/experience letter from service providing companies as well..Really i feel that companies behave strangely once you about to leave or left the company..they are not ready to support in anyway..

That's good to hear that the client (Contract Employer) has acknowledged what your permanent employer didn't do.

Employers like these should learn to respect employees need in urgency sometimes. Normally they should give, if not in letterhead, you can get that on a paper from a supervisor stating your employment in detail with his Id and contact.

Anyways as your Client has provided you the reference letter, that should not be a problem. I believe you have attached your permanent employer documentation like ....pay stubs / Employment letters etc.

Both, ecas 4th line and PPR email came simultaneously, i.e today morning.
I'll prefer vfs for transmitting passport..

this 907 applicant is till 26th of september ,it will last till another 23.25 days ,hence i stronglly fell that only up to 20th OCT applicants will be in CAP , for you, i will suggest to go for another application with another NOC.

I have not got my PER yet :/ CC charged on 20th Nov. ECAS says "in process" we received your app on 22nd August.


27th August PER is out for my NOC. Does that mean am out of the game? Feeling so depressed and sad :/

if ecas says in process, you are definitely in. many people (like me) have got cc charged, ecas updated (know uci through a previous app) but no PER yet.

A question for ECA:

I have done Masters in Computers and My ECA has been completed, the report says:

"Canadian Equivalency Summary

Bachelor's degree (three years) and master's degree"

I was looking for the Document Checklist for Master Degree points and it says "CIC only accepts as an entry-to practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required."

I am confused what are the Point for my Master degree...? 23 or 22 or 21 or 19....!
