I had an UCI from old visitor visa, Just now I was checking ECAS and guess what? I have found a status "In process" and 1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 11, 2014.

still no PER but I am really happy
I know there is still some possibilities, but I am still happy

I submitted my Passports yesterday and it is at NDVO right now.
When can i expect it back with visa??

Congratulations my friend .. 2 of the forumites have received Passport back with in 10 days of sending them to NDVO.

Since Christmas is round the corner. Please expect a small delay

As per the Spreadsheet, 4 have reported PPR from NDVO

So the trend is 2 PPR in November...4 in December... Don't know in January it will be 2+2+2 or 4*2 ... So we all will get PPRs in next few years... Sorry for bad joke guys...
Don't know what trend NDVO is going to follow.. Security checks should also not take this much time that too for 98% of applicants.. Sec. checks may be lengthy for 5-10% but this delay is for sure not due to sec check..

I think they wont event email the tracking number from speed post. In that case, it's even tough to track while passports are in transit.
dont know how much we can trust India post.

I think they'll return your passport via Speed Post..
