Hello Friends,

My IELTS result hard copy will be deliverd to me by 23rd Dec. I have below questions in my mind.

1. What are the chances of my file to reach there as so many holidays in between ? use fedex/ups. delivery in 4-5 days
2. Is it possible to send file without IELTS, Once I get result with send it too ?no.. straight refusal

Please give advise.

Guys,

I am getting a little worried about the status of my application. I received my PER on Oct 4 and since then there's been no news from LVO. Any idea? The only issue that I can think of is that my wife and I have spent more than 6 months in 3 countries. Will that delay the background checks?

1 - Is there any activity on processing files in London VO during December due to Christmas / New Year or it will start early next year? - Work continues except for the declared holidays. - OK thanks
2 - PCC were sent to Sydney, CIC office later on, between CC debit date and PER email date - PER email states file will be moved to LVO. Question is, will the PCC be sent automatically? Also, the PCC were received by CIO within the normal 6 month time frame. However, if the LVO processes my file after 2 months, this may expire! Your thoughts? - At the time of sending initial application, if PCC was less than 3 months old, then you are safe, else you may be asked again for PCC. - PCC were sent to Sydney just days before receiving PER email. According to PER email, file will be moved to LVO. Question is whether Sydney office will send the PCC to LVO or not?
3 - At the time of application, one of my son was under 18 years. Now he has crossed the age. Do i have to update any document or inform CIO? - Have you got PER ? - Yes it was mentioned in my text
If yes, inform VO immediately, else inform CIC/ CIO immediately and you may be required to provide necessary docs to CIC for your son. If you knew your son would be 18 yrs soon, then docs should have been provided earlier itself.. - I disagree with the last statement brother - There are many forms and formalities that don't need to be completed if children are minors at the time of application.

I agree that forms do not need to be filled up for minors at the time of application, but if you knew that the child would turn 18 years before the COPR is recd, then you should have provided docs as per an adult and not as per a minor for your child. Thats all I meant to say !! Anyways, never too late, you can submit the docs now. Just that extra effort needed now.

Hi grooby, ielts is part of set of mandatory documents considered to proceed further from CIC. Without it the application will simply be returned back.
