I am sept 11 Noc 0111 appicant.

I am 100% sure about the completeness of my application but my CC has not been charged yet.

What do experts think can be the reason for this delay?

I am Sept 2 applicant and DD is not encashed yet. Relax, our turn will come.

I think medical done from India should be fine. But better to check with other seniors on this forum.

Medicals can be done anywhere in the world by anyone with the panel physicians.

You can do medicals in India.

For credit card applicants - I informed my bank that I will be in Canada till end of January 2015 and allow payment from there. So I think credit card applicants can do that...

The passport officer at Vijay Char Rasta PSK at Ahmedabad is suggesting me the same. When I went for second time with my gas connection book as a proof of my current address, he asked me to use the same to re-issue my passport for address change and then get the PCC Done. He is clearly harassing me and my wife. When we went first time he told us that the rent agreement (notarized) wont work. i stay on rent and i dont have any other address proof as well. i got frustrated and now i have taken 3rd appointment on 15th dec but this time i changed the location to another PSK at Ahmedabad(Mithakali six Roads). Keeping my fingers crossed this time. By the way , i am contemplating filing an RTI Query with ministry of external affairs regarding the same or atleast complaint against the officer.

Dude at this current stage what all i suggest you and everyone as you if any in this scenario is to keep calm and composed.

Our goal is a successful FSW2014. You can surely look into the complaining [art at a later stage when you are done with your file preparation.

My suggestions for Address proof. You should have minimum 2 to 3 for sure
1) Electricity / BSNL Telephone / Gas / Aadhar / Voters ID / Company HR letter stating your address / Open an SBI Bank account on the address / Marriage Certificate / Rental Agreement (will work only if original)

they have requested for my passport photocopies (only front and back Bio pages) for all - Do I need to send them when I send RPRF receipt?Huh Yes

If you have, or anticipate having, a change in family composition (for example, marriage, divorce or expecting a child) you need to advise the visa office as soon as possible of this change.


Go ahead with Medical Examination. Inform Physician that your wife is pregnant and X-ray for your wife will be kept on hold until delivery. After Birth of your child inform Local VO about adding your child to your application and they will send you list of documents that has to be submitted for your child, and will also sent your MR for your child, as soon as you submit it. Complete your child's & your spouse (only X-ray) Medical, and proceed from their on. Pay RPRF, send them all documents they requested before due date, and you will have nothing to worry about.

I have done my medicals yesterday and sent the requested photocopies of passports, RPRF and MR complition form via post without my wife's X-ray.
Could you please guide if my whole application will be on hold and will get PPR only when X-ray submitted of my wife after delivery which is due in March or it would be partial processing of me and my son..... any idea on same???

Yes you can!
I applied for a visitor visa after my documents reached CIO and it was denied and no problems at all.

Caza,

I had asked you to meet the APO, the chief officer at the PSK. Did you do that ? Many junior officers are not clear on the processes and give wrong advice. You should meet the APO and resolve the issue.

Problem is they are runnig system basis their whims and fancies. The passport officer here asked me to re-issue the passport even during my 2nd appointment. I dont know how to deal with him. now i have taken 1 more appointment on 15th dec but at another PSK. Lets see. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying for positive outcome!

Meet the APO, the chief officer. I think, you might be speaking to junior officers there, who give wrong advice most of the time.
