The passport officer at Vijay Char Rasta PSK at Ahmedabad is suggesting me the same. When I went for second time with my gas connection book as a proof of my current address, he asked me to use the same to re-issue my passport for address change and then get the PCC Done. He is clearly harassing me and my wife. When we went first time he told us that the rent agreement (notarized) wont work. i stay on rent and i dont have any other address proof as well. i got frustrated and now i have taken 3rd appointment on 15th dec but this time i changed the location to another PSK at Ahmedabad(Mithakali six Roads). Keeping my fingers crossed this time. By the way , i am contemplating filing an RTI Query with ministry of external affairs regarding the same or atleast complaint against the officer.

Dear CPCR2012,
Go to Police commissioner office and apply PCC. It will take around 5 days to get the PCC from Commissioner's office.

Dude at this current stage what all i suggest you and everyone as you if any in this scenario is to keep calm and composed.

Our goal is a successful FSW2014. You can surely look into the complaining [art at a later stage when you are done with your file preparation.

My suggestions for Address proof. You should have minimum 2 to 3 for sure
1) Electricity / BSNL Telephone / Gas / Aadhar / Voters ID / Company HR letter stating your address / Open an SBI Bank account on the address / Marriage Certificate / Rental Agreement (will work only if original)

I have gas connection book as well. other than this i dont have any proof.

also I have 7.5 for listening , 6.5 for reading , 6 for writing and for speaking
how many for the language???????
I am so nerves I have PhD and working for 15 years but I have only letter for the last three years ????????
my spouse gets 6.5 for English
could you please tell me how many points that I could gain ?????????????

If PER is already recd, why do you want additional points now ? And who will give you additional points now ? Relax, you have cleared the points hurdle. Don't think about it much now.

1. in DHL delivery receipt there is no signature or person mentioned for receiving....is this normal?
2. when cap is reached? on Application Completeness check OR Fee Charging OR PER Issuance ?

i actually did my medicals a few month before and it is e file and already in the cic system
so i believe without a mr request it would be automatically updated to medicals recieved...
you know where am coming from?????

Gas connection book and latest gas bill is accepted as address proof..
Rental agreement is accepted only if it is registered. Non registered notarised agreement isn't accepted.
SBI or PSU bank account needs history of 1 year. To get around this clause, you may attach any other private / MNC bank 1 year statement and show proof of opening new SBI / PSU bank account by giving 10-12 days bank statement. On requesting APO, they will accept this as address proof.

Age - 12, English L-7.5 {5}, R -6.5 {5}, W, S - 6{4+4 }= 18, PHD - 25, WOrd Exp -11, Adaptability - 5 Total = 71, Please file your application immediately.

18 to 35 years of age - 12

Work Experience Points
1 year 9
2 – 3 years 11
4 – 5 years 13
6 or more years 15

PHD - 25

67 points exactly as per breakup provided above. Just ensure correct proofs are provided for every head.

Avinir, Age will fetch 8 points here. Hence total will not be 71 but 67 exactly.
