hi i got PER on 7th oct and 2nd line on 15nov no MR by now....ANY ONE ON THIS FORUM GOT REJECTED AFTER 2ND LINE, AND BEFORE MR...

I am not sure about the forumites but yes anyone can get rejected at any stage of the process. There are many factors for rejection as different stages have different requirements and if those requirements haven't been fulfilled then the file can be rejected later on but there will be a query from the LVO to the applicant. If by any chance you are concerned about job background verification then mostly it happens before MR and if there is any suspicion in those verifications then the application may be in danger.

My suggestion to you and all applicants who are waiting for MR is to just ask your employers to be ready to answer and verification calls or email and pray to God and leave it on Him. There is no point worrying otherwise. Keep calm and wait for MR mail.

I received per on 28th on nov. After that I send two updates
1)one up date regarding my travel.... which I didnt reveal at time of initial application because of first name was misspelt on passport n visa.
2) second update on employment. I showed me leaving from my present company but they asked me to continue on old contract.

These both updates has been send with explanation letter and supporting documents.

Both documents updates will reach to cic london visa office by 16th dec.
my question to forum

1) it takes approx 60 days .... from per to mr request.Does these two updates will delay this average time period ?

I want to know, can we apply and get PCC before local VO sends PCC/MR request

or

after getting PCC/MR request only we need to process for PCC/MR

You can and in my opinion should apply for PCC before MR, right after you receive your PER. By doing that you will have your PCC with you just before MR and you are going to save a lot of time and stress waiting for the PCC in the given time by your VO.

Dear Ksq,
Hope you have mention your UCI number. They might attache the updated documents and process your MR request.

You can mail them first week of January for mentioning AWB#.

Can anyone please share the mail copy received from NDVO requesting pcc/medical/rprf (hiding personal details )? do they specifically request pcc from passport seva kendra or dsp office ?

Your responses will greatly help. Kindly guide me.

PCC from sp(ssp in case of Punjab)or from PSK are acceptable by CIC/NDVO.

IM 5409 is not application for married applicant. This is only application to the who are in relationship but not married.

guys I have one question....

even though I have done with medicals and awaiting ppr.....still want to clear one thing and for my info.

I was visiting cic website...I visited this webpage where they have shown how to calculate points for education for FSWP. here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-education.asp

now they have mentioned

25 points full for PHD or equal level of education

23 points for Master level or equal OR entry to practice professional degree. they have further elaborated that to claim 23 points ur education MUST be in any of the following fields which are Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.

22 points for 2 or more Canadian post secondary degrees, diploma or equal.

I m not explaining further. the point is that if u have done masters in any of the above mentioned fields ONLY than ONLY u can claim 23 points. else for all other masters u will get 22 points. am I correct?

like I have done MBA and my CES ECA says its equivalent to Canadian level masters degree but since its not in any one field that is mentioned above for 23 points, will I be getting just 22 points for that? is it true that only degrees from any field mentioned above will get 23 points? else all people having masters in any field will get 22 points only?

please help and clear out my understandings cos I was self calculating 23 points for myself in my app. but just now read its details and I think according to it I got 22 points for education instead of 23.

Any degree assessed as equivalent to a canadian masters degree shall get 23 points

First of all congrats for the MR. Please check the email properly as the forms come in a thread one after another, so the last one might be your wife's and the first two which I think you missed are for the rest of the two.

If that's not the case then as it will be mentioned in the MR mail, email them back stating the situation and they'll reply back most probably with the remaining Medical Forms.

Yes. But you might get your pr visa before you get your tourist visa. Whst is the point in gettimg one.

I think the visit visa is processed in 2 weeks of time..... I will get the visit visa fast instead for PR visa.... as m still waiting for MR from NDVO
