THE IVR WILL ASK FOR UCI NO.
DONT ENTER THAT (WILL ASK FOR 3 TIMES)
CALL WILL B TRANSFERRED TO AGENT (IF U R LUCKY).
ASK THEM ABOUT THE FILE NO/UCI AND DONT ASK ANY OTHER INFO.
BE CONFIDENT WHILE TALKING SINCE THEY R PARTING AWAY WITH PERSONAL INFO.
THE AGENT WILL ASK FOR PERSONAL DETAILS WHICH NO OTHER THAN U SHOULD BE KNOWING. SHE DIDNT ASK MY PASSPORT NO. BUT IT MAY BE CALLED UPON BY THE AGENT IN OTHER CASES.

I will share my Experience.....

Rather than directly asking the UCI No., I told the agent that my application was recd. on so n so date, as per CIC guidelines I wrote an email after 60 days and was expecting a response after 45-60 days....Since I didn't got any communication till date, I am worried about the status of my application and if she/he can help in providing the same......After asking few questions she provided me the status that my fee has been charged and application is in the process....So I politely asked that if she can share the UCI no. in order to track my application online....which she provided....

You can now try both the methods and see which one works to get the UCI....

Please share your experience as this will help other forum members also....

Best Wishes....Cheers !!!!

This is cool! Hmm one more thing... Should I try to call the call center and ask for uci or is it to early for my application... My app received date is oct 7

I personally don't see much point in doing this. All it's really doing is wasting CIC time. If you've already had your DD cashed or your CC charged then you know your application is being processed. At that point you'll receive your UCI when you get PER.

Congratulations for your expense. However it is hard to believe, I know so many NOC 4011 September CC applicants who are still waiting to be charged and CIC people has hooked straight to 9 Oct applicant....wow great !!!!!!!!!

Only God knows, CIC working style.... :o

Congratulation ..... I am 29 September for 4011, I wonder when I get charge :'(

Hello

My friend checked his ecas with his old file number dating to 2006 and the status is : In process . What does this mean? In which stage is he?

NOC: 2132
App received: Aug 25
Encashed: Nov 19
Still waiting for PER

Ask your friend to click on "In process" and then check. If there is written that "We have received your application on 25th Aug 2014". It means PER is on the way!!!!

The current situation on charging and PER issuance
On CC:The earliest CC charging finally down to 62 days.Applicants waiting period gradually coming
down and will be down to the usual 30 days very soon.

On CC:Late charging could be up to 90 days now based on 1.Card declining.2.Failure in network.
Attempt on charging will be carried out 3 times and by the last attempt if problem persists, application
will be returned.

On DD:The encashment is subject to prompt processing among the parties involved in the transaction.
For application received on the same date with CC or DD mode of payment, payments are being effected at the same time.
For example:
Application received on the 9th July.
CC CHARGED:28 OCT with applicant getting alert via SMS/Email instantly or within 24 hrs.
DD ENCASHED:28 OCT with applicant waiting period for such encashment for 7-10 days but
now it is 10-20 days due to the current operational changes at CIC.
On PER:PER notification via email within 4-7 days as at November but the current scenario
now for PER issuance is 2-4 weeks after payment deduction.
