I called IOM for medical appointment, a lady answered the call after going through some computerized call setup. The conversation is as follows
For which country are you doing medicals for?

Why are you going Canada?
I'm immigrating with family
Under which category?

Have you ever done medicals with IOM before?
No
Have ever booked an appointment before with IOM?
No
Ok sir, give me details for primary applicant first.
Ok, what info you require?
Sir I need passport no, date of birth and full name as in passport.
I gave all the details.
Now I need details for dependents, how many dependents are there?
Two, wife and kid

Sir I have confirmed your appointment on December 2014. Please bring these things for all three of you. Original passports, copies of passports,4 photos of white background, must wear lose dress, wife must not be in her monthly cycle(don't know what they have to do with her cycles!), copy of email or letter you got from visa Office for medicals, medical forms you received for each person, PKR 6720/-per head medical fees for adult and PKR 2520/-for kid, bring fees in cash and report us at 9am sharp. We will give you letter to do medicals at Agha Khan Hospital for the same day.
So this was it...i want to ask that is it fine? Is it normal? She didn't gave me any booking number or reference number for taking appointment? And do they take cash like this? No bank pay order or something like that? Did I missed anything?
