Hello Forum mates,

Thank God I checked my status now and I saw "in process" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I am September 8 applicant 2113.

Congrats!! How were you able to check the status?

I have an old UCI I am in Canada too.

Dear Seniors and friends,

I would like to understand and have a bit clarity on my situation.

My 3rd line has been updated on Nov 27 of medical received acknowledgement. Also have sent-off my RPRF fee along with background history update of Q8 & Q12, PPR1 as requested by VO.

What I want to know was does this mean that I am through 100% and application is approved or still have to keep my fingers crossed till i get passport request and decision made line update to be there? also when can I expect a passport request for visa?

Would appreciate a response to my queries.

Regards,

NK

Good Day House,

Hope Diplomatru and other Seniors can help.

please, like how long does it take from when PP is received at the VO and the next communication.

kindly advise.

thank you

It varies from VO to VO. You wld be able to get definite answer from SS.
Also could you pls update your info on here to show more
Cheers

Dear all,
WHat is happening at NDVO. No MR.
And by the way, the average timelines on SS would have to be changed, the way ndvo is moving

Hi All!

Needed some help :

My Birth Certificate does not have my name on it.

I've read that an affidavit is to be sent. -

  • What will be its contents/format ?
  • Can an affidavit just be printed with a printer & then stamped by a notary official? Or does it HAVE to be typed?
  • Which stamp paper should one use for the affidavit? Rs.10,20,50,100 etc. ?

stamp-duty-mumbai.jpg

You can submit 10th certificate along with an affidavit. I had submitted an affidavit and had used Rs. 50 stamp paper.

You can get it printed as well if you want, there is no clear specifications as such for this. If you can arrange for an NAC (Non Availability of Birth Certificate) from local authority of your birth place, it will be an added advantage. Will message you the content of an afffidavit.

Hi Rajdeepganga,

I think that there is another reason for this which is not so easily explained. I have observed that even when the 1st line in ECAS was updated most people got this line updated over a weekend, possibly through a background job scheduled over the weekend. However, for 3rd line in ECAS many have said that their status was updated during the week. In my case, however, it was updated after 17 days (8 working days from the day my meds were uploaded by hospital) on a Sunday! I am sure that NDVO or CIC doesn't work on weekends so this couldn't have been a manual update (there was no update till Saturday late night, India time).
So, maybe, you will see your 3rd line updated over the coming weekend. I certainly hope this is the case.

All the best.

Cheers!

It was done here in USA. I checked with hospital and they say everything was good or else they could have contacted me. So, can not be an issue with health as i get my regular check ups. I need to know how do medical center attach results to my application. Do they find it in their database and attach to it or they do it from the scratch and send an E-Mail?? How do they do it.

Thanks!!!!!

Medical examinations are valid for 1 year from the date of the examination.

According to CIC

The applicant should wait until she gives birth, and then both applicant and baby should undergo medical exams. We cannot issue the visa before we are satisfied that the applicant is not inadmissible to Canada on a medical basis
