My application was delivered on 30th July, but my CC has not been charged yet :(
This is while even applicants who sent their applications after me have been charged and many of them have received their PER.
Also, I have not received any updates or emails from CIO informing me of approval or rejection of my application. Is there any body who has the same experience or does anybody have any information about this issue?

I am almost sure that my application met all eligibility criteria as my colleagues with whom I completed the application under the same NOC and at the same time have received their PER.
Could this be because I used a friend's Credit Card details in the fee payment form?
what are the reasons for not charging a Credit card 130 days after the application is received?

your soonest reply would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, mot probably your application is rejected and it is on way to you.
Using a friends credit card is not an issue as long as he signed the authorization form.
You will not know what is the reason for rejection until you receive the package with a letter stating the reasons
You can email CIO, the will respond in 6-8 weeks stating your application status
I suggest you prepare another package since you most probably have all the papers with you and send another package before Christmas. This time, review common reasons for rejection (like non matching job description, missing date on reference letter, missing copy of education certificate...etc) and make sure you avoid them.

Dear experts, iv received my PPR,MR,RPRF on 5th December. situation is, I got married recently bt my spouse passport wasn't ready(hopefully will get it within few days).
So, I made a case specific enquiry stating my condition and I got reply as follows:

Do send it together. You may attach a cover letter stating the composition of your package.

Hey everyone, i think i've got a problem in my PER mail. Along with the whole stuff, they made a mistake in my name while addressing me, same is the case in the file status on the website. I am sure the mistake is from their side. I want to know what should be my next step to get it rectified. Mine is NDVO, so if someone could help in this

stay calm...nothing to worry...u dont need to send your spouse passport to VO right now as its not PPR email for her. U need to send photocopies of your spouse passport and yours original passport (As per instructions they sent u on 5th dec). you can send all the above requested thing (which they asked you to send) in the same envelope in which u were sending your MR/RPRF/PCC/passport. it will be be good if you add a covering letter in your envelope explaining what are you sending. After receiving all the above requested things your VO will send you medical request and rprf for your spouse. so your spouse will undergo medicals and then u will send rprf and medicals of your spouse to your VO...... Later on they will send you passport request for your wife.

Dont forget to mention your application number on your envelope and on your RPRF receipt (if paid online) or at the back of DD (if paid by dd).

If I show settlement fund $10000 and liability $5000. And asset same as settlement fund ($10000) will that be a problem? Will they deduct the liability from the settlement fund.
