if your card or dd has been charged you will get the PER.

Not 100% accurate. There are chances of rejection after cashing the CC or DD. But usually yes, after cashing them, PER is on its way ;D

Would like to share the good news of PER mail. Now clock starts for MR Below are the timelines of my application.

Application Sent Date - 12th Aug. 2014.
Application Received Date - 18th Aug. 2014.
CC Charged - 18th November (90 days after receipt of the application).
PER Mail Received - 6th Dec. 2014 (18 days after Cc was charged).

A cover letter is not necessary unless you need to give further explanation about your application. The document checklist says this : Do not send any additional documents when submitting your application to the CIO

Just FYI. I had sent an email to CIC on 16th October requesting status update on my June 19th application. Received a reply today, about 5 hours ago (Sunday morning in canada?!), informing that the application was returned on 17th September as was deemed incomplete (Consultant had missed to attach page 3 of Schedule A). The content was as expected, as I had already received my package back on 7th November, re-sent on 14th Nov. This to just to let you know of the timelines of CIC replies to email enquiry.

I made a blunder. I mentioned that my relevant experience started from july 2014 , instead of july 2011. However all reference letter and supporting documents clearly state that the experience is from july 2011. Would they reject my application just by seeing my covering letter?..Am fully worried now

Your PER on its way, this happened with me and i received my PER after three days of online status update

Dear Seniors,

Starting yesterday I started to login to ecas (I got it from call center 3 weeks ago), it show "in process" "We received your application for permanent residence on August 25, 2014".

Is this enough indication that my file has not been returned and PER is on the way?

Guys can anyone share the stats for percentage of applications rejected after PER for FSW 2013 & 2014 and if possible specifically for NDVO.
That number would be quite helpful.
