Dear Seniors,

I am getting desperate here... please help. I want to apply before the 31st December deadline - all my documents are ready except my ECA. My CC was charged on 23rd September by University of Toronto CES for my ECA - CES received my docs from my University on 30th September and no reply since then. They don't pick up phones as it goes directly to voicemail. They also haven't replied to my emails. I am getting desperate as FSW 2014 ends on 31st December. Should I just send my application with a receipt of my ECA from CES and tell them that I am still waiting to receive an ECA and will send it to them as soon as I receive it? will they accept my application or reject it?
Please advise.

No, they won't accept it. The application process is streamlined and no one is deemed special. You stil have a couple of weeks to apply. Why didn't you pick WES?

My spouse had a rejection on a US visit visa back in 2008. Post that event, we both travelled to the US in 2010.

The issue is, we slipped mentioning this rejection anywhere in our application. Would this create an issue? I am the primary applicant.

I Dont think that should be an issue at all unless she has travelled after visa was approved. Its only you will have to more specofic when any immigration application has been rejected to any country in past.

Buddy why did you select Univ of Toronto? They are slow and complex. Whereas WES is convenient & easy. Try harder and again to contact with them.

LOOK BUDDY ,,,DONT LOOSE UR HOPE...KEEP ON TRYING TO GET UR ECA...IF U WILL BE ABLE TO GET IT 25 DEC...EVEN THEN U CAN SEND IT VIA UPS AND THEY DELIVER IN LESS THAN 5 DAYS.....

The rejection occurred in 2008 - I blv the reason given was lack of travel history or some stuff like that ???. We both applied again in 2010, got the visas and travelled together for a holiday.

Have a doubt regarding medicals done field in ss.. is it the date when applicant's courier reaches vo or the date wen hospital uploads report to vo or does vo intimate it to applicant?

They take upto 3 months, i am sorry but i think you might miss the deadline.
Unfortunate although but that is the reality.

no, they will not accept it. it is clearly indicated from CIO requirements that you should
submit an original ECA report... sorry to hear that my dear..and Canada wil have a long Christmas break.. but don't lose hope... there are still some ways to to enter Canada. maybe you can try express entry.

if i will not also make it this year, i will also try the express entry... just keep the spirit alive....

It will take around 20 to 25 days.
